All N/A Build up's, number, mods...Post 'em up
N/A Builds, please post up all info needed seen below
I searched and searched to find a thread like this for N/A's, if there is one, I apologize for overlooking it, but I think it would be cool to see what people are putting down with their set-ups as well as their tastes in certains mods...etc. Copy and paste this original format below and add your parts to the right. If they are stock, type stock, if you have mods for any of these, please list brand, specs etc. Here's what Info we need in every post in this format so it's easier to read through and it stays uniformed. If this is the first thread uniformed like this, could we make this a sticky mods? My build is outlined in detail in the N/A build section but here is a snapshot of the last time we did some tuning on her, as most ever other serious N/A built Z is. This is not a "beginning to end" list, but rather what we started with on that day last summer, and what I ended up with.

Z1, good looking numbers. Did you ever do a baseline stock?
|
How could I forget the fuel used on dyno, but add a ss, that's what happens when you stay up to late.

http://www.z1auto.com/images/baselinedyno9-29-03.jpg car was ~3 weeks old when I did the above run, only mod was a UR crank pulley. This was done at Mustang Magic, an old school, long established shop not too far from where we are located. However the engine in my car now is not the same, I picked up a spare engine and built it, which is what my car now has as her heart. unfortunately, I never did get the scan of my 320 whp run from Jermaine @ TXS lolol - just spent the day bs'ing, hanging out, doing some tuning - he forgot to print it and I forgot to ask for it ! Next time I am down there, I'll be sure to post the results, and if time allows, maybe I'll head to Dave at F/T to toss it on his DD as well |

Refrain from posting irrelevant and useless information, like ones about exhausts and intake. Keep this forum clean and stay true to the title of the subfo 2nd-It mentions I, E b/c it makes a difference on the build. 3rd-The thread is clean so far, I don't see any issues, do you? 4th-If there was a subforum that was only about this exact topic and nothing else in this exact format, It would be posted there and not here. Maybe we can have the Mods create a Subforum based on this exact topic. Maybe it's an idea. |
Strong baseline, numbers.....

FYI if you have stock engine internals you do not have a built NA engine (nor is it considered an "NA Engine Build") and therefore davidv is correct and this would be more appropriately suited for the main Engine & Drivetrain Section. Yet I digress..

Is my intake manifold aftermarket? Nope...and thus, it's stock (sorta). Plus it's got the added hmmm by running the world smallest plenum spacer :) |
