Yea I saw that part. I was hoping the ECU can run the GM TBs. I don't know what the Nissan pinouts are on the 70mm TBs. A google search says the 90mm LS2 pinouts are as follows....

C.) +5v TPS Reference
D.) TP1 Signal 0-5v
E.) Common Ground
F.) TP2 Signal 5-0v

If you flow bench each individual runner (i.e. put a MAF over each outlet and measure) you will find discrepancies in the stock setup because of the momentum of the air as it comes around the neck. An off center baffle that recognizes this disparity and equalizes mass air to each bank may help you pull out a few more ponies.
I look forward to seeing how you can model the open air test into practical form. I would think you would need an rpm window switch operated valve right at the plenum itself. Not easy...

Thanks for all the comments guys! It's a lot of fun trying to make more power and its very satisfying to see that the community is as interested in the progress as we are. Of course the videos help share the experience.
The stock non-revup intake is really quite good, 285ft lbs of torque out of a stock 3.5L engine is pretty up there! However I think the intake is running out of steam above 7000rpm and it will need to be changed when we start running the engine out to 8000+, but until I test different cams + compression I won't know for sure so that's just my best guess right now.
I would like to again try the revup plenum and see if it's starting to out flow the non-revup at high rpm or not, and see how bad the mid-range losses are.
I'll keep you all up to date!

I'm in the process of trying to make the GM TB work with the roadster's stock ECU now, or perhaps flashed with UpRev.
Even if it worked I would reccomend it ONLY for off-road use, this isn't the kind of stuff you want going wrong in traffic!!

Just out of interest as I couldnt see it in the thread (it may be in another one!) what ecu you running and also whats it tuned with?

Ok guys, I have some good news, and a lot of bad news.
Number one, the stock ECU with a Haltech standalone (I have one of those for the roadster too!) running MAP sensor was able to work with the GM throttle body. HOWEVER, it would throw a code every time the engine was started as it detected a throttle fault, and the code would have to be cleared to take the DBW out of failsafe mode. Once that was cleared, we dyno'd with the Carbotron plenum and 90mm throttle body.
So with the SGM headers we had re-baselined the car at 284whp, up 5whp from the previous tests mostly due to an improved header design and a bit more power from the UpRev flash (rather than just the Pulstar plugs). I copied over the int cam / exh cam / ignition timing that I was running with the UpRev, and quickly tuned the Haltech to run in the high 12s / low 13s. Once the thing was tuned I did a few pulls, and to my amazement, there was no power gain! 283-286whp.
Stock cats/manifolds to SG headers:
Headers to Intake + TB:
The conclusions are hard to pull from this test, but one would imagine it comes back to the cams, as that's the main difference here between the racecar and the roadster.
