Rev up swap trouble.
Hey guys, been around here for a while but hardly ever post. I have been tracking my car for a few years. Since about 2007. Been doing the Time attack thing as well as some autocross. It's a 2003 350z, it was twin turboed with the JWT 530 kit on a built block. Well long story short, the shop that built the engine ****ed it up and the engine blew both head gaskets twice in 1 week. So I sold that set up and went in search of another engine. I found a rev up with 38k miles and decided to go with the swap. I am building the car for TTA to get a bit more competitive in racing. So after I came back from deployment I did the swap and everything went together pretty smooth. Including the return fuel system I made myself to be compatible with E85. Only thing wrong is the car has no power with the ecu plugged in. If I unplug it everything works fine with the exception of the engine not starting of course. But it will crank. Now with it plugged in nothing gets power but it will crank still. I had Doug at Zfever delete the NATS and called him about it. He said the wiring is probably wrong. However I only cut the wires to the stereo and stuff from the fuse box back in the car. Dash harness is un cut and from the car originally. The engine wiring harness, ecu and engine are all from the 06. Any one have any idea what might be going on? Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: I work a little on it today and I did have 2 plugs crossed. I switched them with the same result. I also ran a jumper wire strait to the battery for the fuel pump. Had fuel but no spark. I then hooked up the original ecu from the de witht e same exact results that I got from the rev up ecu. I am leaning towards the notion that the ecu is either bad or the nats was never removed.

So no one has any experiance with this swap? I did rule out the ecu being bador not tuned had it check and it works fine. Guess I will have to rip apart the dash harness tomorrow.
