I don't find it very strange because I know someone who had a similar story but with a BMW 745Li!
he had some problems with the car and they couldn't fix them yet the called him to get it. so after few times of the car showing these problems again and again, the owner of the car got fed up and gave them the keys and left the car with them and went off.. few days and they called him to come and get a new 745Li!!! he got the new car, sold it, and got a Porsche Cayenne Turbo instead..

I think this the way dealers should treat their customers! not the like the crap we have here!
