Volk TE-37 Gunmetal 19x10.5 w/ Potenza SO-3 285/30 rear and 19x9.5 245/35 front. Tinted, Zaino'd... done. What you see here is how the car was ordered and delivered through Nissan of McKinney. Fantastic dealership. So far everything has been top-notch, A+++. The service guys are great. Very knowledgeable. I think every single person in the sales and service areas must have come by to congratulate me and tell me how everyone has been drooling over (not on) this car. :) More to come when the weather improves… I have to keep it under 5k for now… but you can feel that cam. It’s night and day from the test drives I’ve taken. But it’s smooth. It’s not a noisy motor. It’s all intake and exhaust…valvetrain noise is almost non-existant. Ride is fantastic too. I was worried the suspension would be too harsh fort he wife but I think this is perfect. The 1.5 LSD chatters at ya if you bring on the gas in the wrong gear. :) It makes for a humorous balance on city streets while I’m in break-in. But I can tell you that this car wants to be above 5k. I spun the tires twice on the way home and had no intention at all! Kinda neat really…you hear them spin but you don’t feel it. Car just keeps turning. :irock: Lots more to come... while the rain soaks Dallas this weekend I'll be sitting in the garage putting the last 5 months of forum education to applied use. I've got a lot of Xmas presents waiting to go on as well (Fairlady emblem, Gtech Pro RR, etc.). Cheers, -Smoky |
Congrats!!!!

Dude lookin really nice!
|
Congrats! That looks super clean. And when I first read the title, I thought you wrote 2006 GT-R. lol
|
congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats one nice Z. you didnt want the nismo wheels? although to be honest the gunmetal does match your silverstone better. so i guess i can see why you opted for those:cool:
by the way performance nissan has the new nismo floor mats with the heel guard and the new logo. i have them. www.mynismo.com |
Very nice. I was told by someone at Nissan not to run the Nismo cams because the new revup engine has a different "more aggressive" cam already and it would cause problems. I guess they didn't know what they were talking about. I have the new Nismo floor mats as well. They are nice.

I vote your car the best stock Z in North America!
