I had an extremely long day at work today. 16 hours to be exact. Driving home I find that I have a new voicemail. Come to find out it's from my salesperson and she has my VIN. I can't beleive it my Z finally has a vin assigned. So my question is. Does anyone know at what point the dealer get the vin's? Is my Z stateside? Could it still be in Japan? I'm dying here. I'm not going to be able to speak to my salesperson until I get off work on tuesday Someone please through me a bone.

my experience from dealership is they usually call you when you car is in transit or currently in a vehicle processing center waiting to be shipped, you will have your Z soon!! check on your dealer's inventory over the net (nissanusa.com) from time to time, they will usually have your vin number in stock 5 days before the car actually gets there. Congrats!

 

Thanks zxpwr, I spoke to her today and she said delivery is still showing for the week ending 7/7. Hopefully it'll be sooner, we'll see.

Just a side note my girlfriend suprised me with a great book for any Z enthusiast. It's called "Z 35 years Of Nissan's Sports Car." I definitly would recommend this book any one looking for a good coffie table book.
