I love washing the Z!
I dont know about you guys, but i wash my z almost every other day! I just cant stand it dirty. The other day i took the tires off just to clean the inside of the rims.. lol
Of course, the million dollar question is "Are you doing it correctly"? Is your Z going to look like a spiders-web of scratches and swirls? Are you a disciple of the Autopian way?

Guess others already beat me to the "well, have I got plenty of other cars for you to wash' response. Oh well! Anyway, to avoid the problems mentioned above check out the valuable link a Meguiar's. I think in June my350Z day was there - just a little before your "Z" time and it was great. Here's the link:

Search my350 to see that day's activities. But more important, if you go to FORUMs and find "INFORMATION STATION" it has plenty of info on getting and keeping your car looking like a showcar. BTW- Mike Phillips our host for that day is/was from Apple Valley and says you'll have to wash your car all the time due the dry/dusty conditions!!! BTW - congrats on your Z Orangeflash!

Guys in New Zealand have a name for Z afflication, "Z obsessive complusive cleaning disorder".
I cant stand to see my new Z dirty either. And I love driving it around. So for somewhereto drive it, i stop at a car wash just to spray it off. It stays very clean but was unsure if this could be unsafe for car. If so, how?

good question. I doubt spraying it off could be bad... but I have heard of the car washes at gas stations CAN be harmful to the paint, but again, these are things IVE HEARD, so im uncertain if its true or not. With that being said, my Z is due for a nice hands free wash tommorow... <3
