its good mainly for sound and looks........HP gains are negligible. if you don't plan on opening the hood at shows all the time, the Stillen short ram offers nice sound for the money.

hmm, thanks! does it do more hp wise than a K&N drop in?

hmm... it costs more than the pop charger though. I think the main thing i'm worried about w/ the pop charger is heat soak (houston gets pretty hot in the summer). other than that, i do like how it looks..

heat soak is not an issue in a car, it's a ricer myth. in theory, yes, when the car is sitting still, it's taking in warmer air. but once you start moving, the air the intake gets is as fresh as it's going to get.

Nissan did a good job on the intake design already, not much power (if any) can be found. if i recall, some intakes on the HR actually lose power. like i said, it's pretty much a cosmetic mod and it sounds awesome when you floor it. K&N drop ins are a waste. they are cheaper than an intake, but you don't get the sound that you would with an intake.

good luck, feel free to PM me any questions. you can post them but a lot of people will just flame you and tell you to use search.
