Default shaman19<-Biggest Lurker just got his 350Z

So I've been reading this message board since October of last year patiently waiting for it to be my time to buy a Z.

The Wife and I decided on a 2008 AT Touring PPW.
I don't have pics at the moment but hopefully I get a chance to take some over the weekend.

The first 2 things we plan on doing is placing a light tint on the windows and the front plate bracket (stillen?).
kthxbye

Congrats on the Z. PPW rules. Was AT your first choice?

I've driven MT a couple of times... not enough to feel comfortable. Also, the wife is not a big fan of MT. So I guess we really never even considered the MT. If I was more comofortable with MT I would have tried convincing the wife to get it... but at the end we're both happy with our purchase. As odd as this might sound.... we're not into the drag racing...etc.... we love the look of the car... and it's for our short weekend trips.

I would never buy this car with an AT. That said, i'm not you! Enjoy your Z, its a great car especially for the abovementioned weekend trips.

Congrats on your new Z. Can't wait to see some pictures of her. If you don't intend on tracking your car, then an 5AT isn't a bad choice. I also hear that there's not many or any issues with the 5AT compared to the 6MT.

BTW, damn... you waited since October?!? I was on the other side of the spectrum. I bought my Z before finding this forum.

thanks everyone... yes... I'll provide pics soon.

RedLine 350z,
you have no idea how tough it was to wait paitiently.... we wanted to get some small montly bills out of the way first.... I'd find myself coming to this forum hoping it would fullfill the desire of a Z.
