Q's on buying an 05' Roadster

1 Attachment(s)
Hello. I'm new to the site. I've always owned Mustang GT's for most of my life ('85, '90, '92, '95) but always loved the look of the 350z, so I've decided to go for it!

I'm looking at purchasing a 6-speed '05 roadster with 55000miles on in. It looks and drives really sweet.

Any advice and comments on what I should look for would be greatly appreciated!:dunno:

Cheers!

05s generally have the fewest issues. I always suggest having a mechanic you pay & trust to inspect it before you buy.

^ +1 I have an '05 and have had no problems except for the fueling problem which has been fixed.
Go for it!!

Thanks boys. The rims are 19's and make the car. There no other mods that I know of so it's pretty much open to anything.

In your opinions, what's the cheapest mod that gives the best bang for the buck? Thx.

There's no "one" cheapest mod. If you want to get any "bang" you're going to have to shovel out the "buck". That's just how it is with Zs.

A good place to start, however, is with the intake. One of the cheapest and most popular ones is the PopCharger Intake. From There, I'd suggest exhaust and a plenum spacer. After that you're already out $1600 depending on if you install it all yourself or not, and you still won't notice huge gains in performance.

The only way to get the bang you're looking for is through F/I. And then you're looking to spend anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000.

Nice move on the 05, as Rat says, usually have the least faults. Enjoy!!!!

Thanks for the advice GT-R and for your response Bronzee.
Cheers.

Inspect the top for slight tears or rips in the lower right or left corners of the rear window. Also look for separation at the seams in the top.
