I'm Feeling the Woo Hoo....
Hi guys and gals...
After months of research on this DB and other sites, talking to owners, and test driving LOTS of cars, I decided on a "new to me" 06 MT silver "Grand Touring" Roadster. The ZR came with 28,000 miles on the clock and it is spotless. I don't think I've ever seen a cleaner, newer looking used car in my life! And for those keeping track, I paid $22K for my new ride... It was a tough decision as I was really on the fence thinking about this car v a C6. Since I knew I would pay cash for my Z, I wanted to buy the newest/lowest mileage vehicle I could find, and at the best price possible. The car seems to run just fine. With 29K miles on her, I am hoping any oil consumption issue that may have occurred, occurred earlier in the cars life!:icon14: Since I have another 6K before the Nissan's warranty runs out, I'll monitor the oil usage quite carefully... I drove it for the first time today, a 35 mile spin down the freeway to Fountain Valley CA. Very comfy for my 6-2 frame, and reasonably quiet with the top up (it was raining...). I can see Good Times ahead!:) Steve in So Cal |
Welcome and congratulations.

Hey thanks, guys...I'm eagerly looking forward to learning more about my car, and enjoying it. I go and buy a Roadster, and then it rains. Probably the first time it's rained here in sunny Glendora CA since LAST spring.:icon9: Go figure. Cheers, Steve in So Cal |
Welcome. To possibly alay any fears, the powertrain warranty is 5 years/60,000 miles, so if you do have engine problems, then you should be OK.

welcome

Welcome and congratZ! I hope you enjoy the "woo hoo" feeling because you'll get it every time you drive it!

welcome and congrats, that is a sick deal 22K, good work

It was a great deal!
Thanks...I figured $22k for this trim level was pretty good. OTOH, the brand new 08s are going pretty cheap around here. I don't think the Nissan dealers can unload their inventories, AND combine that with the "belt tightening" that the banks are passing onto the customers there are some good deals out there!

Welcome, looks like you found your Z happy place. Have fun in the 06. :icon38:
