Default Long time Lucker, New 03 Owner in FL

Hello everyone,

My name is Grady, 21

Been searching the forum for years and just soaking up information.

I recently moved to Florida with the Air Force, and bought my own 350Z.

I traded in my 2000 5 spd. Maxima for the Car.

I got an awesome deal and look forward to sticking around for awhile.

I only have two pictures at the moment.

looking to get some more once it stops raining.

oops, By the way it was supposed to be titled, "Long Time Lurker, New 03 Owner in Fl"

Could a Moderator help with that?

Damn, for someone who has been lurking so long I would have thought you figured out how to spell it.

Thank you, has 20" Axis wheels on it, they looks great but are almost too big for my taste. They came with the car so I can't complain. Plus the more I look at them, the more I like them.

I definately agree with ur initial reaction. 20's are a little too big for my taste. Function over form. car looks good regardless, congrats man, welcome to the fam.

Default quick update

Thank you all for the kind words and welcoming.
Yesterday I traded my wheels with another local 350z owner with some cash on my end.

I think the look better, and I can tell a difference in performance and ride quality.

Any opinions are welcome on the change.

I also got a 10' sub box from Zenclosures.com and could not be happier with the product.

so far I am loving the Z and look forward to many more miles of fun.

No they are the factory optional wheels that get installed at the dealership.

I like how they look, just 18x8 though

Track wheels are factory ones.

Not sure I would have traded and given cash, but it sounds like you are happy with them. Congrats on the new car and thank you for your service.

Lol thank you. I'm trying to decide between a few upgrades right now. I already have a full audio system, tint, and once I get some spacers I'll be perfectly happy with my wheel setup for now. I am trying to decide between BC coilovers or a Cobb accessport with test pipes and an intake. Guess we shall see what happens

well looks like a new clutch/flywheel combo is first on the list. clutch started slipping when I shifted hard from the top of third into fourth. Looking into the Z1 clutch/flywheel combo.
