03' touring NEPA
Hey guys, I've been looking for a new car for awhile after losing my old baby, I always loved the Zs and I was in the market for a coupe, and I managed to catch this Z locally at a dealership.
I had seen the Z before but it was priced to high out of my range, but I had gone back to look at a Scion tC that they had, and I noticed they red tagged the Z down into my price range. I was estatic.
I should have researched the car alittle more before I bought it though and it did bite me alittle bit, but my fathers a mechanic and I'm not completely useless so I should be able to fix it myself.
So I picked up an 03' AT Touring 350z with 64k miles for about $13,500 which I don't think is too bad!

The car has.. I think just magnaflow mufflers, doesn't look like a CAT back.
Has an AEM intake, that I don't know what to think about it
but is pretty damn clean.
Now the bad..
Axle Click
Rear Sub is just.. gone..
trunk struts are blown
Dealership ordered me new trunk struts after arguing with them, they were actually about to blow the sale over it but I guess they wanted to get rid of the Z more then the tC sitting next too it.
Didn't notice the axle click until I signed the papers or I would have given p the trunk struts over fixing this. Dealership is refusing to fix the axle click since its considered "maintenance" its not covered under the 90 day warranty.
Welp.. can't wait to start modding lol

nice chrome silver!
I have a '03 Chrome Silver Touring AT myself that I bought back in March for $15,500 with just under 45,000 miles, completely stock as well. I would say as long as everything else is okay with it, you got a decent deal.
The only thing I found out after I brought it home from the dealership that same day was the a/c compressor belt was really frayed. I couldn't see it since the engine cover put a shadow over it, that's until I put a flashlight in there. Since the dealer was 125 miles away, I sent them pictures and they sent the part to me and got it done at my local Nissan. Something that should have been caught and fixed.
The trunk struts and blown sub seem to be common problems but luckily mine is all good. I know a member on here with a '04 and he has the same issues.
