Thank you. Progress will be slow on the Z as I'm work on 4 other projects at the same time. But it will move forward and I'll try to post when it does.

The rear looks much better with the mess the PO created by painting around the emblems eliminated. I went ahead and filled the holes for the Nissan emblem in the middle.

Thank you, I feel like I haven't done anything with the paint job still being on it.

Making progress, had the windshield removed, new one will go in after paint is done. It's really coming along. I ended up just getting a stock looking front bumper and plan on ordering MB Battles and tires soon.

You sir are absolutely right. It's just I have a Grand Cherokee I'm also building so unless I rob a bank the wheels have to wait for the moment.

I've heard good things. I don't need anything to crazy the Z will just be used as an occasional have fun car. The mode misses her sports car we sold after our daughter came along so she'll take the Z to work or rides some days. So I want a clutch that's good all around not to firm but better feel than stock.

If your referring to the clips the cargo net is attached to they were in the car when I bought it. I figured that was stock and for the net, maybe it's only in certain year or model 350z's?

Picked the Z up from the office and my wife drove it home, her first time behind the wheel.

She was all smiles and said she liked driving it. She felt like it had less power in 2nd than her 04 Mustang had but more power in 4th. I do know it looks good in the driveway.

While taking this picture I thought I need to clean up the exhaust.

Was never really a big fan of the blue tips on the exhaust so....

Once I started to see how clean they should be I went ahead and removed them so I could do the job right.

After a good amount of time I got this far, This is going to take for ever

So finally done with one side. Would have been much easier if not for all the black overspray on them, f'ing body shop. They really do clean up well though.

I didn't use any sandpaper, only mothers aluminum polish and a drill and dremel with cotton wheels on them. Takes some time but worth it in the end.

The wheels on this Z just annoy me, so.......

Would like to say I'm putting new wheels and tires on but not as much of a priority as other projects at the moment so.....

Sorry for crap iphone pic, better ones to come. The plasti-dip is a temporary fix and I think makes the wheels look much better. Still want new wheels but at least I don't wince now when I look at the Z

Much more to come. Anyone know why my e-brake doesn't work at all? it has tension on the handle when you pull it but it doesn't hold the car at all? Will be next on my list of things to fix.
