Thanks guys and I'm still getting familiar with the forum , the car came with a pop charger intake system and nice stereo system , planning on getting y pipe back exhaust , megan racing single exhaust to b specific
lol thanks man. Bet your all excited. I remembered when I just got my Z. I signed up on here in 2011 and I finally got mine a few months ago. Getting an injen cai right after I do the gears.
I wanna get so many things for it but I can't go crazy , I'm def getting the exhaust soon , I'm indecisive on the y pipe tho , idk if I should go megan or get a cheap obx or m2 y pipe instead
Am definitely going with motordyne xyz pipe or maybe stillen. Dont cheap out on the y pipe. I heard thats one of the most restrictive parts of the oem exhaust.
I think they r all 2.5 in diameter tho so I don't c the difference, I mean obx or m2 are pretty cheap but I had obx headers on my gs300 and never had a problem with it , 300- 400 dollars for just a y pipe is kinda ridiculous in my opinion I saw a video on YouTube of a guy running megan y pipes to the single exhaust and it sounds very nice
Welcome and congratulations on the purchase of your HR Z. It makes a really nice change to have someone do their research on the forum before buying their car rather than asking a load of questions that have been asked numerous times before. Props to you dude.

You may want to look into a Motordyne XYZ y-pipe with a resonator, the Megan single has no resonator and although it may sound "deep" in video clips but in reality it is extremely loud if run on its own. AAM Competition and Agency Power also make high-quality single exhausts with no resonators if you're looking for other options. Just some advice
