First thing to do is post a picture of your car along with its year, trim, miles, transmission type, etc. We need to know what you're working with. It would also help to know your level of experience and expertise in working on cars.

Just giving you a heads up that like most forums, with this one being no exception, people do not like when you post something that has been gone over many times before. So just be ready for some not so friendly comments.
Anyways, I don't really mind since I have nothing better to do. As the above poster said, knowing more information will definitely help us. Also you really should decide what your priority is; whether it be engine upgrades, suspension upgrades, exterior appearance, interior, sound, etc. Unfortunately $1,500 does not go very far with these cars.

$1500? I would buy my base model a legit diff with 4.08 gears. Done.
If you have a functioning VLSD then I would go sway bars and a used legit exhaust. Then pocket the left overs for wheels/tires in the future.
If you're looking for something looks wise getting wheels/tires will change the look of your car but you're looking at decent used sets if you shop around.
As koolsilver said (even with a low post count he/she has some knowledgeable advice) Please don't ask any more questions answered a billion times.

first of, you need some fresh dents and scratches so you can look like you've been somewhere and done some things..
breakin the body.. take a stick and start hitting the car then throw rocks at it

With a limited budget you need to figure out if you'd rather make it look good or be fast(er). But I'd say spoiler/used wheels would change the appearance and could make it look nice.

Ha, really? this forum nev.. wait, always* disappoints.
I would suggest a true dual exhaust to get that VQ purr'n the way it should but wheels would probably make the biggest difference if you care about its appearance. Only problem is you'll need tires which is gonna be more $$.

$1,500 wont really get you much. You could do knockoff volks and some eibach sportline lower springs. That would look decent.
Don't bother with bolt-ons. Unless you put in +$12k and go FI it' just a waste of money. My build cost more than that.

varrsteon wheels:
