Little boy's dream came true!

Hello Guys,
My name is Ivan, im from Costa Rica!
So here is my story, back in 2002 when the first 350Z was delivered to the local dealer, i was walking down the street with my mom, i was like 14 years old, and i saw that amazing car in a platform and i just got in love! The guys at the dealer were very kind and let me look at it and also they let me seat inside... on that moment i remember thinking... im going to get one of this when im old! I remember day dreaming about my future 350Z...

Now, 13 years later that dream came true... and i was able to change my 200SX SER for a 2004 350Z! I still cant believe it... its just amazing... i almost cried when i first started it...

It is everything i thought it would be and even more!!

Her name is Katniss and i love her!

It came with Stillen True Dual Exhaust, Test Pipes and a Intake tube with K&N Filter, also a set of 19 inch rims with 245/35 tires on the front and 275/30 tires on the back. For the body it came with the Extreme Dimensions Duraflex C-Speed Rear Bumper and the Nismo Spoiler.

I dont plan on doing any mods right now but maybe some Carbon Fiber parts to make her look more awesome and a Osiris Reflash just for safety.

Hope you like it!

Congrats Ivan

What part of Costa Rica are you from? I spent time in San Jose, Jaco and Playa Hermosa and saw 1 350Z in Jaco back in 2005. The roads are not very Z friendly but it would still be nice to have one there

Congrats sir. Like you I've waited a long time to get mine. I can definitely understand your excitement, my friends laugh at me when I get in and out of my Z I have a giant grin on my face. Back in 2003 I drove a 1998 BMW M3, I loved that car, did some slight modifications to it, mainly an autocross car and it had plenty of power for it. But one day I came a cross a Z, basic mods, smoked me off the line. I've always loved the Z look, I used to want a 300Z as well (my friend owned a tt) and that power I had to have. Well I had to pay the college bills and grad school. Then I needed an economical car while I find a career. Now I finally got my promotion, I realized that a great used Z is extremely affordable (I've been kicking myself for not realizing this sooner and buying one instead of my Mazda 3), and I made my dream car fantasy come to life as yours. I totally understand how you feel. The sound the Z makes when it starts up, almost brings a tear to my eye. I'm saving up about 3 to 4 paychecks and then I'm going shopping. Researching for headers, cat back, intake, free flow cat, fuel pump and injectors. Then when I get it all installed I'm heading to my local uprev in Austin to get it tuned. I figured this will give me the added horsepower I really don't need but these chevy comaros are giving me a hard time, damn texans.

Welcome and congratulations!

Welcome to the forum! And congratulations on the Z. I didn't have such a love story, but I did ride in my buddy's Pikes Peak White Z (what I have now) when I was 17 and i thought it felt amazing, but never thought I could afford it.

I don't know if you have had your car aligned, but the rear wheel in the 2nd picture looks like it has excessive negative camber for the height your car is. May want to look into that (it could also be an odd angle of the picture)

Anyway, welcome and enjoy!
