Just signed up here on the site, but been browsing and learning a lot for awhile. A 350z was always a car I have wanted, and after talking my younger brother into one for his second car, we drove down to LA and picked him up a pretty damn nice 03 track edition in Lemans orange with 59,XXX miles on it. New stage 2 clutch and pristine body and paint led to him purchasing it on the spot from Auto Republic. I was stoked for him, and he proceeded to own the car for no more than 4 months before deciding it was bigger than what he wanted and went out and bought a BMW Z4. The day after I found out I called him up and Boom! Now the car I found for him originally is mine! Love it to death, I had never driven one before just loved the body style, the sound the vq35 engine makes under load, and the beautiful orange lemans paint just sells it. Within 2 months of purchasing it some dumb *** in a jeep wrangler totaled the rear end in a parking lot while it was parked...and I just got her back from the body shop today Couldnt be happier. Ended up finding an original nismo 370z style wing at a shop on the east coast so had them swap that in, and had the roof repainted gloss black with a nice mellow tint on the rear window. OEM 07+ LED tailights rounded it out without going too overboard. Got a new oem rear bumper and quarter panel, new oem hatch, and now she is sexier than ever!
Just wanted to pop on here and say hello to everyone and figured since I got her back today it was a good time to do so. Ill get some pictures up soon of the before and after. Glad to officially be a part of the Z community.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase of the Z. Your brothers loss is your gain. The amount of times my Z has been hit/scraped in parking lots leads me to believe people are insanely jealous of our cars or they treat parking lots like fairgrounds. I hope your Z brings you as much pleasure as mine does.
