Convertible Z owner here from So.Cal
Hello everyone, my name is Peter, I've had my 2005 Nissan 350z Convertible since March 2017, I actually traded my Yamaha for this bad girl, I am the 2nd owner and since then it has been nothing but taking care of her and upgrading her. She was Stock when I got her. And today i thought i'd finally join and introduce. I have been on here for awhile now just scrolling around, especially with all the DIY guide, everyone have definitely have saved me Money. The engine has 117,*** original miles. I am 31 years old, will be getting out of the military soon after 8 years, and will be headed to UTI for auto tech in Rancho Cucamonga, CA in September. What I have done so far on her are:
Recently got the top replaced claiming it on my insurance for Vandalism/Mischief and only deducted $100 and insurance paid the rest which was like $1848 with a 3 year warranty.
Suspension:
Godspeed Lowering Springs (1.8F, 1.4R)
Tein inner and outer tie rod
Blue Anodized Lower Control Arm (Amazon)
Wheels:
18x9Front BSA Wheels
18x10Reae BSA Wheels
Tires:
Front 2x 245/40 18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
Rear 2x 295/30 18 Goodyear Eagle F1
Engine:
Mishimoto Replacement Radiator
- Using Beck Arnley Green Coolant 50/50 with distilled water
Cold Air Intake (Amazon)
..and just keeping it clean
Exhaust:
Spec D Tuning Full Exhaust - nothing fancy or too much, i like it
(looking into doing test pipes and headers in the future) dont know yet, need to do more research.
...Coming this week is custom suede leather CIPHER racing seat, just waiting on seat mount bracket to come in
...i am looking to do custom paintjob next and bodywork.
thanks for having me.
