Hello All,
I have long wanted a 350z. 1/29/18 I purchased a 2005 35th Anniversary Edition in Silverstone with 81,000 miles. I am a very excited to have this car. I really didn"t look the car over closely when I went to look at it. I just knew I wanted it. After close inspection I realize this is a rescue. I have generated quite a list of items to correct/fix. The car is mechanically sound for the most part.
I am excited to bring this car to clean state.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but I belive there were only 1000 35ths made? I would like to figure out what # I have.

I am looking forward to the exchange of ideas.
Thank You,

Does the z emblem on fender have a bronze ring around it?

Yes, it also has a 7k redline.

Well, that, IIRC, is because the Anniv car was the first with the VQ35DE Rev-Up engine.... kind of the prequel, "in-between" motor before the HR.

You are correct that there are something less than 1,000, at least here in the US. Not sure about whether that's worldwide or not. As far as the numbering, well, no way to really tell. No plaque like a Nismo here in USDM. (Canada models *supposedly* had plaques.) And, deciphering the VIN may or may not tell you (give it a try here: https://my350z.com/forum/vindecoder.php ).

Thank You,

Welcome. If your oil pressure sensor needs replacing, don't replace it. If you do, pray to the gods that you don't crack your pan. Enjoy your 350
