2004 Touring, top won’t close
Need your help please! Attempted to close the top last night and now it’s stuck and won’t fully close. It was suggested that I tap the lid motors or the limit switch. Can somebody please tell me where I can locate the limit switch? I have tried to research diagrams but have wasted way too much time And still have not found what I’m looking for.
The fifth bow is not fully retracting to allow the storage lid to close and then to lower and complete it’s closing process. I am at a loss and not sure what to do at this point. My car is stuck In my sisters garage and I need to get it out of there and get this situation fixed or at least the top fully closed for now.
I have owned the car for 2+ years, I am a woman and I do have a clue but since I am a visual learner, any pictures or diagrams would be super helpful.
I removed the negative Battery terminal for over 10 minutes but that did nothing to help. I’ve read post after post and search the net for other options and also YouTube and still have not found help with my current situation. I’m at a loss right now and need some very appreciated direction. HELP!
Thank you all, waiting ever so patiently,
Dominique (Dom for short)
