Exhaust sounds awesome. I just picked up some Berk HFC's myself. They SHOULD be on their way to my house (although UPS says nothing of the sort).

Nice driving :D.

Nice vid and yes it does sound good,

Any review on the Kuhmo XSs?

Oh and when the black cayman spins. Any insight onto what would have been the proper way to avoid spinning after hitting the curb there.

Sensi09 Apr 27, 2009 10:46 AM

Just checked a bit of your other video on vimeo. How has your exhaust setup changed since then?

It hasn't... just different "padding" over the camcorder integrated microphone!

about the cayman S... he did the right thing, I was getting him and he tried to run away, being up to his a$$ spinning and locking was the right thing.. trying to control the snap oversteer could have him spin just in front of me.
how to avoid it?
1) don't install 19" or 20"? inch rims and than touch the curbs
2) don't touch the curbs if you have no tire shoulder
3) did I mention to don't touch the curbs? :D

honestly I just pick that curb a little sometimes to close the line... but I have a massive /40 shoulder in the rear.

I'd say I'm really happy... looks like the sweet spot as hot pressure is around 38 to 40 psi...
the wear is good for about 3 hour of track going fast.
they started getting a little greasy at the end of the sessions but mainly was the pressure going too high, the falkens azenis were more sensitive and probably less grip.
they will last enough to give me more confidence on that track before switching to R comp. (or maybe I'll give them one more round before).

Nice Video, Great driving!!!

NISMO_558 Apr 27, 2009 02:14 PM

damn I cant wait till this june when I take mine to the track!

KingBaby Apr 27, 2009 02:18 PM

really good driving seems to be more easily pushed than those others car...they seemed scared to drive there car...

said it before your one hell of a driver...

SirSpeedyZ Apr 27, 2009 02:33 PM

nice driving

Ataru074 Apr 27, 2009 02:36 PM

thanks guys, but I'm not that good.... mthreat (that was my instructor saturday, is) he runs 3 second faster than me on the same track with his Z... that is less tuned and powerful than the nismo. I guess with really good driving the nismo should at least to 1.59 or less with "street" tires, if pushed to the limit by someone that know how to do it.

exactly.. instead of being a moron on the road and probably end up in an accident, going to the track is the better way to explore the REAL limits of the car AND see if you really have nuts.

btw.. I'm a sucker.. I ordered even the photoset from the track.

sneak peek

any time I see that picture with that Ferrari behind me I think.. PWND!

white323nismo Apr 27, 2009 03:10 PM

great driving. your car looks great that low to the ground. the streets in Los Angeles suck so I wouldn't be able to go anywhere with the car that low.

Nizmo0395 Apr 27, 2009 05:44 PM

looks like you have the car set up neutral.nice and smooth for the most part.i wish i had time to get to a road course!only enough time to go to the drag strip.still better than on city streets.

looks like fun!

s2k2nismo Apr 27, 2009 07:24 PM

did you have your lsd set at full lock on that course?
