Pushing the envelope this year! I have always absolutely despised the side markers on the '07-'08 Nismo's!!!! I like the clean flowing lines of the 2009 Nismo's. AKA no side markers

My car will be going in today for estimates on painting my door handles Matte black as well as filling in my bumper and installing MCR Carbon Fiber Canards which I ordered up from Adam @ Z1 just now. Thanks Adam!

Nismo #575 should look badass after this. I will be quite happy with this Mod.

At Watkins Glen the gears performed flawless! No complaints what so ever. 3rd & 4th gear kept the car right in the powerband.

HAHA I don't know! I'm not even sure where they are at this point! My g/f moved in and occupied one of my garage stalls with her stuff. I haven't seen the box lately. I'm hoping its in the attic. All my jet ski engines and parts are against the side wall behind all her stuff. I really need togo digging and finish some projects.

I have a Paint shop apt for May 23rd. But they aren't interested in doing the canards for me! So I'll have to meet up with mkn and take my Nismo to where he had his Canards installed down in Queens. I'll have to take the train home.

These Canards are a PIA!!!! I'm surprised I haven't put them up for sale by now... I wanted to have them done this summer, we'll see. I am having some paint chips repaired on my hood, front bumper and fenders. I have a bunch of stone chips that are making the finish look like *** on the nose of my car.

i didn't know the canards were that complicated to install, but its worth it. Mkn's looks awesome in person if you haven't seen it before. good luck getting your paint chips fixed too.

I'd like to see his car in person! It would make my decision on ordering an MCR hood alot easier if I see one first hand. Mkn said he has another bumper to Mod and that we could meet up and have them done at the sametime.

I'll do a photo shoot of the car after paint. It will look brand new again.

I'm glad Adam chimed in on the "4.08 gears are useless on the track" comment...

With 37kmi you'll need the full install kit. New bolts, bearings, seals and gears.

www.mynismo.com Has the gears for $495

Z1 has the install kit. But you can also get the parts from mynismo.com

Just price around till you find the best deal.

NA 4.08 gears are the way togo! So much more fun to drive

I found them today in the attic. lol It's said when projects get shelved for so long you miss place the parts!

I am having my side markers and door handles painted to match the car. I'll install the canards over the markers for now. It may look like **** but oh well. It's something till we get our V3 bumpers filled & painted.

the nismo doesn't have a nismo differential...
just to don't highjack the thread but give some info... depends on how you drive the damn car.... if you drive like 99.9% of the enthusiast.. the quaife is probably the best diff for the car, period.

if you drive like 99.9% of "normal" people... it doesn't make any difference if you have a quaife, a clutch type, a viscous or an open diff.

if you drive on a road course AND you are pretty fast... let's say about in 1.5 second per mile or so from the fastest guy in your car... than you'll start appreciating the differences for real..... all the other bla bla bla is just marketing to sell you equipment that probably will aggravate you more than help.

I won't have them till mid next week. I am having some stone damage repaired, so I figured while it was there I mise well find them some other work for them to do. I told them not to rush it.

I stopped by the Shop today to check on their progress. She is under going a face lift! The Door handles came out awesome! I have pics of the bumpers and skirts removed to upload tonight as well as a door handle shot or two. The car is a mess due to shop dust. The bumpers and passenger side skirt are being refinished this week. I am looking forward to receiving my New Nismo back Monday. No chips

Very nice bro, do you still have the Injen CAI? How do you like them? I have the Nismos but I like how the Injens are actually in front of the radiator.

I like the Injens. My tubes get pretty warm from the headers not being wrapped tho.

I need a vented hood. No sense wrapping my headers now cause I hope to boost the car soon.
