Little late night bump......
T-Dizee and I
And of course with another Nismo buddy and one of King's buddies from Hawaii. Don't mistake the park ranger for pulling us over. haha He was actually re-routing us to a different location to get to summit road here in South Mountain. With monsoon season, it definitely washed out alot of areas so it has been closed until further notice.

Yeah. It shouldn't have happened in the first place. Still no luck in getting parts. It's been shy of a month now. In the end, I know I"m going to thoroughly check the car after it gets back from now on. Not driving it for this long is pretty depressing to be honest. I was joking with TJ that we have something in common. Both of our cars are undriveable. So I'm not alone. You know, I watched something on Speedhunters and it definitely motivated me to just stick with it and keep building the car.

Yeah, I wish Nissan would have done a Nizmo color like that with a Black Hood, Top, and maybe rear Deck or at least the Spoiler. Carbon fiber hood would be even better. But they are hard to keep clean I must admit without some sort of see through coating like a Bugatti Veyron has.

One day old....
...baseline testing done.
Pic above I parked it on first mile up Hwy 9 from Saratoga, CA and sat in car with stopwatch/timer waiting for slower cars to get themselves up the road. Watching mirrors for cars coming up behind because if I let them pass, I have to start the da*n timer again.
It didn't matter... 3-4 minute lead and I still caught 'em well inside the 7 mile stretch. Thank you, Yamaha. Awesomely good.... and dammit, at least as good as the Koni/Hotchkis/SBC suspension on my Enthusiast! Whew!

Coastal Range Running
Monday morning run. (Did the same route over the weekend in my Enthusiast to give myself a comparative feel.) Pretty much have the Nismo dialed in with good feel for what the car wants to do.... so now just enjoying it.
Above and Below: California Hwy 35 Northbound between Page Mill and 84 junctions (Palo Alto/Woodside)
Brief respite at The Thomas Fogarty Winery
Picked up breakfast at Alice's
Imagine a solid hour on this road...
Life is good.
