The Nismo's Plaque
 

Coming from a discussion in a another thread, I think it's wrong for someone to have the possession of the NISMO plaque and use it in their non-nismo Z. The way I see it, those plaque's belong in real nismo Z's and nismo Z's only. I believe if a NISMO Z gets totaled, the serial number should be "retired" with the car and not be reused in another Z.

really, why give a ****? nobody's going to think it's a real nismo. even if they did, who cares? he acquired an upgraded console panel and is leaving the plaque in place.. again, how does this effect you enough to be hurt over it? lol

Anyways, non-Nismo Z w/ Nismo Z center console (with plaque included) is faster than the RSX. Last time I checked, I didn't think that was possible.

ha reminds me of someone I worked with that had a USMC tattooed on his arm, when I asked him where he was stationed he replied "oh I am not a Marine, my brother is though" :icon22:

It's similar to putting a GT-R on a Civic or an AMG badge on a non AMG Mercedes. It's tacky, and it's not like the owner would ever admit to it.

Well sort of, the plaque is more of a symbol to the NISMO 350z's limited edition status, that's all I'm saying.

You do realize there's such a thing as an AMG apperance package without the engine right? Well it's more along the lines of having a mustang gt and putting cobra badges on it. To the OP... having a nismo is a sweet sweet thing but it's only the minute differences that really make a Nismo.. A Nismo. There's other things in life I find more retarded than that..

OP Are you for real! You started a tread on this subject. The nismo console is beautiful. If it was rotting at the junkyard, I'd definitely take it. Hell, I'd take everything I could afford from it whether or not I had a Nismo. Consider it an interior upgrade. I have a Nismo front bumper and wing and my car is not a Nismo. Does it really bother most Nismo owners. Doubt it. If you're loosing sleep over this, you have bigger issues you need to be worried about. You need to seek help.
