Hey,
Looking for some expertise in regards to the 370z. I have the 2009 NISMO 370z (Black) and the rims were stolen (don't ask how, long story). Insurance said they would replace as soon as possible since the car is not drivable anymore. Now it looks like Nissan is not making any new replacement NISMO wheels or ordering them from whichever wheel manufacturer makes them (RAYS?). Anyways, they ordered the rubber tires already so I'm kind of in a tight spot, they have offered to purchase me any aftermarket wheels to replace the NISMO ones (and still purchase the OEM NISMO's if/when they become available). So, I am in search of a aftermarket wheel that is the same size as the 2009 NISMO 370z wheels, offset should be the same as well. Weight can be the same or less than. The reason I need the wheel to be so similar is because of the traction control and because the car is so new that I'm still breaking it in. Price is no object, any wheel will do as long as the sizes are the same as original NISMO wheel and they fit with the ADVAN tires that the insurance company already purchased for me. The car has no modifications done on it other than what AUTECH/Nissan has done to it.

Any ideas??? I was thinking KONIG?

You should get some good coin from the ins company for replacement wheels. I bet they are $800 each from Nissan, if you were able to order them.

Go with the Volks wheels, dude! Nissan trusted them to do the OEM thing on the 370 & the Nismo.... why wouldn't you?

I'm with these guys but if you do sway from any of those go with rpf1 or works. atleast make another thread I think we can forgive you for two threads but we won't forgive ricey 370s....

Let me clarify, there seems to be some misunderstanding. I don't want cheap wheels, I want to juice the insurance for as much as I can because they dropped the ball on ordering the wheels in the first place (waited 2 weeks before they started any paperwork to find out that they are out of stock for a while). I had some KONIG before and they were really nice, expensive as well. I want the best for my 370z but I also have to stay in the dimensions of the OEM NISMO wheel because of insurance guidelines. If KONIG aren't that good anymore (it was a while ago), then for sure something else. Right now I'm looking at some VOLKS/RAYS: http://www.forgedperformance.com/sto...cat=319&page=1

I want the best wheel for my NISMO (I'd rather have the NISMO OEM RAYS Wheels but that won't go for now) BUT I gotta stay at the same wheel sizes, offsets, and similar weights.

Any recommendations? I like the darker contrast found on the 2008 350z NISMO wheels.

This is a misguided approach. Just call Forged and get a nice set of new te-37s
in +22 and identical sizing. Don't **** around with anything else.

the ones you linked are nice. stay with the higher end brands since cost is not an issue.

I think the 350z nismo wheels would look out of place on the 370, but I agree with you, I love the design and color as well.

go with the G2's. I like those alot. Also, the TE-37's would be a nice second choice

Volk CE28N's!

19" all around with a +22 offset! They weigh less then 20 lbs each. More aggressive looking then the TE37's and less weight.

Choice is simple really Not cheap by any means! Some CE28N's Time attacks would look sick. The only place that may possibly have some in stock would be Vivid racing! They are a sponsor on the forum. Search and call them up.

Man that really sucks about your wheels being stolen. I like the Nismo 370Z wheels myself....sucks you can't get a replacement set.

I was watching Ultimate Factories on National Geographic last night and the episode was building the Lamborghini Murcielago SV. When I saw the wheels on it, I thought they would look awesome on a Nismo. They are made in Chicago, forged by a company called Alcoa.

I am not sure to be honest. I just know that the rims on this Lambo look awesome and weigh in at only 22lbs for the rear and 19lbs for the front, pretty light.

Alcoa specializes in aluminum products. They make most of the wheels found on semi-trucks and some large pick-up trucks.
