Would these 5AD wheels work?
so i already have these on my genesis coupe, which is now for sale. The specs are 20x9.5 (+25) front and 20x10.5 (+33) rears. How would these fit on a Nismo? What's the widest tires I should run?

they should fit alright. I'd run a 5mm or 10mm spacer in the rear. and for tires i'd prob say 245/35 and 275/30.
why selling the gen? |
BUT, If you have a NISMO then why not keep the nismo wheels on instead??
|
selling the gen to get a Z so I have a new project.
I want to run my 5AD wheels so my Nismo doesnt look like everyone else's. |
They are nice wheels a few guys run them, your offsets are a little weak I would run huge tires like 305/30 and 265/35 in the front. Or like above get some spacers to make them fit flush like a 10mm front and 15mm rear.

20's on a nismo? Umm, how about no. Here's an idea. Why not sell those wheels to someone on the genesis forums and then buy some proper fitting 19's that better suits said nismo. Food for thought.
|
i have always rolled on 20's and dont plan on stopping anytime soon.

Thinking your Z will look good with those wheels. The offset is not that much different than stock so they should work without spacers. If you want to set them out a little bit, get some spacers.
|
wont the +25 offset on the front wheels make the wheel stick out too far? I hope not. Should be picking mine up Thursday.
|
The simplest thing is to just put them on your Z and find out if they look ok. You have the wheels and the Z so just give them a try. If you don't like them you can always go back to the stock wheels.
|
9.5 +25 on the front will be sunken in a little bit.
20s on a Zs are hideous though.. especially when they don't have any sort of lip/step lip. no need to downgrade your wheels. (all of this, of course, assuming you'll get a nismo Z) |
