How's nitrous feel on the Z?
I have a 2003 350z.
I use to have nitrous on my 3000gt, not VR4 and it was ok but felt it really wasn't worth the pain in the ass filling the bottle after 4 uses. I want to put a turbo on my car but damn over $5000.... Hows does the nitrous feel in the Z's? Did any of you go nitrous over turbos because of the price diff? What RPM's do you use your nitrous at? I want to stick all my friends heads to the seat, is that how it feels? The stock Z alone is weak if you ask me. |

You ever seen f&f, it feels just like that! Naw, joking, lol.
I had my friend inside my car when I first tested my nitrous, he said it felt like my friends vortech sc 350z. I had it set at 4000 rpms at the time, so once it hit, it went quick, big difference. It was only a dynotune 75 shot, so it wasn't the biggest, but it was still pretty good. I can agree with you that the Z is weak from the factory, imo. I have a 3000gt also. I always say, lots of 3/S guys either get a vette or a Z/G, lol. Were you on 3si? Here is my 3s. I was doing a TT conversion but never finished. |

I miss my car. If I knew the Z woulda been so weak I shoulda kept the VR4. Video and a pic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFvtYnzNkuY http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p...2vr4/1065s.jpg |
difference is the Z starts up every time you turn the key and moves everytime you go WOT.. its the most reliable car i've ever owned. VR4 might have some straight line power over the Z but it is much more refined

Nitroviper, that is totally sweet. I think i've seen you around on 3si awhile ago. Should have kept the vr-4, I love them!

True that, can't compare a 1980s chassis to a 2000s chassis. Those cars were pretty refined for their time though. Back on topic, nitrous is too easy to install on these cars, it'll make up for its lack of power. I don't mind it, since I don't use it a lot, or at all, lol, so filling up is not really an issue to me. |
