im also the president of the lexus club here in ohio...we have numerous meets in the hot weather time. Also meeting up to go to shows.

im from the cincy area.

Wass up *****? I live north of Columbus. I'm in for any meets or shows. I was in Cincy last summer.....the wife and I took it down when I got my Volks on. We stayed at the Westin on fountain square. Where are all of the Ohio Z's? You heard the man.........Step Up!

Got another! I live in northern Columbus. I do a lot of mods to my car and others, everything from custom paint to TIG welding to interior and electrical work. Would love to have some fellow Z enthusiasts to wrench with. I have about everthing you could need EXCEPT a lift.

hey hey fellas...not a bad show for just a couple of days.

Im not sure if we will get anything together this winter but i know this spring its on.

We have an incredible driving event down in northern NC. We go drive the "Tail of the dragon" if any of you guys have heard of it.

Sounds awesome bgwillyis300! Were you thinking of having our contingent join the Lexus folks? By the way, were did you come up with the "No cops!" statement. From what I read, the run is full of law enforcement???

does it say thaton that site. I mean you still have to act accordingly not putting other people in danger by acting like a retard. Like going over the yellow line is a no no. Basically what i meant was i think i saw one park ranger car or sumthin like that. I wasnt worried about the law what so ever.....because there wasnt any.
I figure its such a small town that if the cops were dicks about people on the dragon They would lose a lot of tourist$$$$ which is there main income. I mean this town is small that its in. Maybe 1 mile radius in town.

but neway.....all cars are invited. Last time we had porsche, NSX, 350z, and lots of lexus'.

Yeah, I found it a page or two deep. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one to drive like a fool--I value my @ss and ride too much. But I live up by Powell, Ohio which if you're not familiar with is a very small town with lots of antique shops which draw shopping, etc. The point being, that they have about two patrol cars per resident, and will pinch you for anything under the sun, rolling stops, 2-3 mph over posted limit. I guess that's what I was getting at. Good to hear it's not like that from your experience.

nope....im always on the lookout for cops....especially when im speeding.
But thats one of the things that made this trip so fun. Is that i could kinda of relax about the cops thing, and concentrate more on pushing my ride to the limits.
Now we did run into a few slow *** bikers, but after they saw a line of sports cars revving their engines and honking there horns they quickly pulled over!LOL

just want to get a holler out also. as you can see from my sig or whatever i am in dayton. there are a few other dayton Z's out there and one i know is on this board: PULPZ. I will try and PM him to see if he will start posting in this thread. I know he puts his Z up for the winter so he might not be frequenting this board as much anymore. also like a lot of us he got very frustrated when this board was going through all of that downtime crap. he might have even jumped ship to another board, cant say i would blame even cause that was rough. either way i will pm him.

any of you other Z owners out there plan on driving your baby through the winter. myself, the Z is my daily driver and believe it or not i got through last winter on the OEM tires. SCARRRRY!!! Needless to say i am getting my blizzacks on this friday. gonna be safe for sure this winter.

Yo! I’m around. Wright State University grad here. Not that I get into the alumni scene but it’s nice to hear local voices.

I’ve put the Z up twice for the winter. Took it out the first time because the weather was nice. Took it out the second time because I wrecked my truck last week. Got a rental car yesterday so the Z is back in the garage again. Will try to clean it up again Sunday.


I try to stay sports car active during summer time. At least one or two runs a year. Also went to the SCCA Run-Offs at Mid Ohio this year. Would like to do a track day there sometime.

I’m also a member of the Z Club of Texas (long story).

May 20-24, ZDayZ at Tail of the Dragon 2004 Fontana Village Resort, Fontana, NC. Devoted to Nissan Z-Car enthusiasts! There is one scheduled for 2005 but I’m not sure when. I have this info at home and can dig it up later. Would be cool if Ohio Zs got together to drive down together. Here’s the website:
