Here's to the white trash in Dearborn, MI
 

So I'm heading down on a road trip from Milwaukee, WI, to Dearborn, MI, to attend the SAE Motorsports Conference. I'm on I-94 maybe 4 exits away from Michigan Ave. when all of a sudden a P.O.S. 1980's Plymouth Voyager pulls along side my car all honkin n tryin to get my attention. I take a look over and I see some hill billy teen in the passenger seat and a girl who hardly looked 12 yrs old in the driver seat, both jumping up and down in their seats like "special" kids and waving at me. They both looked piss drunk, so I just waved back while thinking WTF. Anyways, there's traffic cuz of construction so it's stop and go, and whenver they would get the opportunity to get close, they would pull alongside and keep actin like fools tryin to get my attention and yell at me to open my window. Obviously, I didn't want to open my window so I just kept driving and minding my own business. I'm about a quarter mile away from my Michigan Ave. exit when they pull alongside me one final time. This time, instead of yellin or whatever, they just stare at me and smile. I'm thinkin whatever, I'm about to get off so it's all good. Then all of a sudden those f*ckers start throwin food at my car! They threw everything from an apple to a McDonald's hashbrown...... WTF? I even got a good grease mark on my driver's side window as a result of those idiots. I was really pissed at first, but the more I thought about it the more I thought it was hilarious. I'm sure they left quite a mess on I-94. Besides, I was only in my '94 beater Altima so it wasn't too big of a deal. But if I was in my Z, ooooo it woulda been a whole other story... but anyways, here's to the white trash I ran into in Dearborn, MI.

BTW this is by no means a hit against the city of Dearborn, as it was a pretty nice place. :)

Lol, yeah, i was thinking at first you were in your Z and I wouldn't have thought it was funny, but if you were in an older car and nothing got dented then i can see the humor. Me, personally, being an individual with road rage would have followed them haha.

That is the time when you wish you had a gun in your car and you can start taking shots at their front tires. Hopefully they would then remember not to fu@k with people on teh highway.

Dearborn area has one of the largest arab populations in the country. Do you think they were terrorists?

I'm not for sure what their point was... I know for a fact that I didn't cut them off or anything because the first time I ran into them was in the stop and go traffic when their lane was moving and mine was at a halt.

i would of been pissed either way, weather or not i was driving my z. they would of had more reason to do it if it was your z. u should of got a license # down or something.

i had a few idiots try n egg my car while i was driving it. luckily they had bad aim and i was able to swerve and miss it. i was under my break-in period so i didnt give chase. no harm done though right?

I was actually quite pissed for a good while, cuz I mean what gives them the right to deface my car? the traffic was stop-and-go for a good while so I could have easily jumped out of my car and started sh!t with them, but I knew it wouldn't have been worth it. I didn't take any pics of my altima since it wasn't damaged, but if anything, it's more like the Z now that it has grease marks on the window :D

BTW, is it a Dearborn inside joke to tell out-of-towners that the happening bar is Miller's Bar, or was I just there on a really bad night? :confused:
