I was on 610 going about 70. wasn't hooning or anything. I couldn't find any visible signs of a puncture, but I can check again today since discount tire is SLOW AS ****.

also, litle PSA here, did you guys know that discount tire offers a protection plan on tires even if you didn't buy from them? It's only ~$200 and they will replace the tire for free if you get a flat.

dear heaven. just had a buddy buy a miata last month. And while I have nothing against miatas at all, I've had to hear him brag about it literally every single day. From how he could kill my Z around a track, all the way to how he's totally going to drop an LS7 into it.

he will spend more on the motor than he did the car. new crate motor is 14k and then you still have to worry about the dropped valve issue.

i see them pop up on the vette forum every so often, there is a used one with the valve guide issue fixed that posted yesterday... but it is still $9500

yeah, i don't think he understands the concept of money. he was looking as getting a 350Z, but I guess couldn't wait and save up for a few more months.

And its already dropped down on coils and has decent wheels. So im really not sure what else hes going to do with it. This was basically a "I want to be part of the cool kids club" purchase. I tried to get him to save up, but, not my problem

of course, I have nothing against Miatas at all, but first was going to buy and STi, then an evo, and then a mini, and then a Z, and then R32 GTR, and somehow ended up with a N/A Miata

I'm about to put an ace through my head or my Z, I can't tell yet. While getting my new tire on, they checked my other front tire because it was low on air. Found out it has a ****ing small leak at the top of one of the spokes

You think it's from your recent outing? I think the roads here are getting worse, especially with all the construction and crap that's on the streets.

Naw, the tire was flat when I took it out of the garage. Just figured it was from the cold air from the winter. Guess it was from something at the end of last year

No, no new body kit but I'm throwing around the idea of a front lip and side skirt extensions.

Sometimes we do the same thing to justify poor decisions we've made in the past.

I'm thinking of tinting the 2 front windows of the van to blend in with the rest of it. Maybe go a little lighter like 50% or so.

20% is what matches the rear, 35% would be lighter. Don't even bother with 50%, hardly noticeable and not worth the $$$

I'm talking about the van, though. I guess I'll ask the shop to measure the tint on the factory windows and see what they find out.

speaking of tint. I'll probably get some on in a couple months here. Do you guys ever get hassled by the cops for it? 50% is hardly noticeable, and 35% is technically "illegal" (im sure we are all aware of that) I can't really imagine it will be a big deal, but im black on black with black interior, and the Champlin PD is known for being hard on everyone

So was I. 20% is what the vans come with from the factory.

Im itching to get my car(s) out. I have been working on them a little over the last couple weeks. Got the Z up and running with the oil leaked fixed over last weekend. putting a new top on the honda, and cleaning up a few electrical things on the evo. Spring is definitely coming
