I have a SPORT UMBRELLA but I am afraid I won't be able to use it as the center pole needs to be hammered into the ground. All of the pit area is asphalt in Mid-Ohio. And mine only seats 2 chairs.

My buddy that is coming with me bought a canopy last time after we were out at Beaverun in 94 degree weather. That was the last time we were doing that. All are welcome.
Sektor I will be happy to help with the A-arms too on Saturday morning. I just checked and group2 is not out on track until 9:50. We can try after the drivers meeting. I have the same A-arms on my car too. I know you need an alan wrench to move the sliders where the shims go and then just a regular socket to loosen them. You should be able to do it without taking the wheels off, but you'll need to jack the front of the car up so the front wheels sag enough to get to them. I can do that on mine, but mine isn't lowered and I think yours is. We'll see. Just let us know.

Oh yea another thing I noticed that I'm really excited about. Saturday we are running the club course and Sunday is the pro course. That is flippin sweet. I have only done the club course once. If none of you have, they add a chicane right before the keyhole. Its pretty cool because your lap times don't change much. Hope you all enjoy!

yeah I saw that too. Seems like everybody (except the racers) are super excited about that little chicane.
Lee and Deepu, if you guys don't mind bringing your NASA license and I"ll print out extra copies of the winner's card for my friend that'd be great (unless you guys have other ppl you'd like to give the winner's card to)

Those fold out canopies are pretty large, I don't think they fit in the Z. I went with one that takes more time to construct (not bad now that we are used to it) and it fits between the rear speakers and the rear strut bar.
Target.
p.s. I won't be at mid-ohio with my cool Target canopy. sorry.

Skipped my last session and came back a bit early to have dinner with Sarah.
Man, what a freakin blast!! Quick comments from the weekend:
1) I never want to go to Waterford again, now I know what a real track feels like!
2) There's so many more levels of speed that I didn't even think was possible!
3) I have so much more to improve on, but I learned sooo much about car control and weight transfer.
4) Deepu is a lot faster than I imagined.....nice going man!
And it was great meeting everybody else, Dominick, Justin I heard about your LSD issues, sorry about that. Hope it's an easy fix.

I hope to see you all again soon. Hopefully I can make it to Grattan for the BMWCCA event. That is a 5.5 hour drive for me though. We'll see.

Glad you guys had a good time. Mid-O is definitely a blast. Can't wait to go back next year. Deepu sounds like you were piling on some speed. Hopefully, you had it flat out through the first turn into the chicane.
