If anyone has any questions about attending any of these events, feel free to post up and I'll answer the best I can. I've been autocrossing in the Twin Cities for about a decade now and am familiar with the workings of everyone's events, SCCA rulesets, etc.

I'll add on that if you thought your car was uncompetitive historically, this year will be a great one to try out. The SCCA has dramatically revamped classing in the stock classes, now renamed to "Street". There are now allowances for things like wheel size changes, and everyone has to run on 200+ UTQG tires. No more getting smacked down in your daily driver by that guy who brought slicks!

All MOWOG events offer free instruction ride alongs for all drivers on all runs if you wish, and having completed a drivers school is not a prerequisite. Anyone can run at any event with no prior experience, and all clubs have programs in place to help newbies get their feet wet comfortably, but nothing can beat a full day of training like the novice schools offered in April and June.
