Calling on all Cincinnati 350z owners

Hello all,
I am in the works of installing my new 06 rev up motor.
I wanted to know what clutch and flywheel that your using?
If you have under drive pulleys, and headers or full exhaust?
And are you pleased with all the parts you have installed on your Z?
Thanks everyone

Toneloc 06-10-2014 01:11 PM

what happened to your old one?

decepticon 06-10-2014 02:22 PM

It dropped intake valve in cylinder #3 and broke it in half. Half in my plenum, other half stuck in other intake valve of #3. I ordered a new engine from 123 Engines.com, Its in the area now and I should see it later this week. I will be installing it myself.

go with a jwt light flywheel and clutch, motordyne exhaust, and hfc or testpipe, pass on headers and pulleys they are a waste of money and they gain 2 hp... you really need a tune after all of that and hit 300hp na

With the jwt system, do you have chatter or very much vibration like some claim?
I just wondered about headers, since I have the engine out install now with ease.
I have always put headers on all my other rides, but he Z is a totally different animal than what I am used to. And from what I have read on here Rev up's are very touchy.
So I want each $ to count.
That is why I am asking about the hard stuff. The clutch and Flywheel some are using. This is, well was my Daily Driver.

Toneloc 06-10-2014 04:46 PM

it is dd too... only get chatter in netruel with clutch disengaged (who stays in neutral)..get ssline, new pivot ball and wildwood master slave also... I also put billet torque tran mount... it will give noticeable vibration but shifts are solid

Thanks for all the info. I am ready to order stuff and just trying to find the cheapest place to order from. Hard to swallow dropping $800 on clutch and flywheel. That should only cost $400 max for both. But when its all together and running right. Its a blast to drive

I went with Z1 clutch/flywheel. Did stainless line, new pivot ball, release bearing, pilot bushing, and slave cylinder while I had it apart. No vibrations or anything. Seconded with some noise in neutral with clutch disengaged. Not loud though, only really hear it if Im next to a wall like drive through, etc.

Naoh_97,
Thanks for the info. Good to hear from someone local. The Z1 kit is a little cheaper than the jwt's. So I just need to pull the trigger and buy something, very soon.
Toneloc has been a big help. Funny that I asked about Cincinnati 350 Z's and he chimed in right away and helped out.
Where are all the locals at?
I would like to hear and see a local Z with flywheel/ clutch if someone steps up
from the tri state/ Cincinnati area or Northern Ky.
Again thanks allot to Tonloc, and Naoh_97 for speaking up and telling me what you guys have.

I've only been in tn for four years... Born and raised just south of Toledo... Cheapest place is conceptz performance.com find the hit that comes with the ss line and pivot ball and save compared to z1 you would have to buy separate.. Z1 clutches ehh heard several issues...jwt never ever heard a complaint

Tonloc,
How many miles on your setup?
And have you had to change the grip plate on the flywheel yet?
Thanks again

Naoh_97 06-12-2014 07:42 AM

NP man, my buddy and I just did the install a few weeks ago so memory is fresh if you have any ?s, lmk. Z1 kit came with the stainless line included if you buy the clutch/flywheel combo.

decepticon 06-12-2014 03:20 PM

Well I was leaning towards the jwt system. But I ended up buying the Z1 instead.
Each system has things I like and dont like.
After talking with Rob I think it was at Z1, the choice was easy for me. Also great price for everything shipped to my door.
Again thanks allot to you guys for the info and help. I hope this works great for my system and setup. Keep in touch guys

How do you like the z1? Is the chatter as bad as some people say? I'd like to hear it in person if you have time one day I'm located in nky.
