^ Reason being he will grip and rip with his AWD and you will spin...
You'll never make up the gap on a Carrera 4S...
If he just has a RWD Carerra (non-S) take his money...

I've seen a friend with a 381whp 311wtq AAM tuned Vortech 350z get barely inched out by a stock non-turbo Carrera. He's got 19" sf-challenges as opposed to your 20" wheels. I will get the specs on the year and exact model of the carrera and post them up here. But I def. would not go with the 20ft head start.

Second that... You will definitely lose with the headstart. I think you might lose WITHOUT a headstart...
Per Porsche's website:
Carerra S and Carerra 4S (Non-Turbo) - 0-60 in 4 1/2 Seconds
Carerra S and 4S - 0-100 in 10.8 Seconds
You best have the supercharged Z of yours really well tuned IMO.
At least scale the bet back to $1,000.

the porsche would eat the z on the track
the 911 carrera S would destroy it
drag strip the porsche has much traction from RR set up
+ if its C4S forget it
the z is NOT any match to the porsche ...
>_<
20 ft headstart rofl...
over estimating your own power
i'd rather underestimate and win out rather than overestimating and get owned

To say "stock 911" is very wide open. In addition to the points made about Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S (both AWD), even the base 911 (RWD) is all over the performance map depending on the model year. Is it a 993, 996, 997? Makes a big diff IMO.

werd theres alot of varibles, ....but like i said, i have yet to see powerful SC Zs....ig u were TT my money would be on u from a rolls, but racing a awd porche you would need DRs or slicks to match his launch. Ever race a evo from a start ,......try racing a awd porshe .....being rwd you need hella tq in yo 2nd 3rd to make the distance up. Its one thing to have the power, but you have to be setup...suspen tires ....remember porshes out launch many rwd cars ........they just put power down better then most. And remember Zs are meant to race the boxer series porshes 911s are gtr lunch meat lol

You also don't know if it's modded. An exhaust and ecu swap sounds like you'll lose. I raced a carrera s on ocean pkwy in jones beach when I was stock with exhaust and lost. Those cars have a great top end bottom end and middle. If you give him a lead you should give him the money at the same time. Good luck
