Okay, I will put you and your friend down as a maybe. What would you be bringing along as far as food/drinks? These meets are GREAT for meeting new car enthusiasts in the area. Plus, if the other 350 people show up, then there's plenty of people to talk to about your car. It's a win-win situation no matter how you look at it!

Sounds good! Well, just got off the phone with my buddy and we're gonna try to show up. Keep the 2 of us down for a maybe for now. What food/drinks stuff do you still need? Also, not that I encourage drinking and driving, but is there any alcohol at these events? Just curious.

Okay platinum, you got it. We do hope to see you there! We could definitely use more drinks. It is gonna be HOT out that day, so people are going to be thirsty! So, a case of soda from each of you or water or juice in a cooler with ice would be perfect. Oh, no alcohol is permitted. They don't allow it in national or state parks. So, NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES EVERYONE!

BallZ6Spd, I will throw ya in there as a maybe. We're gonna have so much fun. I think some people were planning on having a game of kickball (away from the cars, so no worries) sometime throughout the day. I will be there until about 5pm if any of you are showing up later. But again, we hope to see you guys there. I love 350's!

Good deal gentlemen. lobotomy, thank you! You're the ONLY person out of that list that told me what their friends were bringing for food/drinks and what kind of car they were bringing! +1 for u!

BLKroadster, what were you going to bring for food/drinks? Families are welcome! A lot of people bring their kids. So, there might be other kids there for your own to play with!

Obviously I didn't make it, but told my 2 friends to stop down. Judging by the pics they made it, Yellow Z and Supra. It was a sweet day for it. Maybe next time i'll get to make it!

Have to throw this in....while my 2 friends(as stated above) were driving home on 76 at high speeds, the greenish Supra lost it's rear tire at about 100Mph!! Unbelievably, the only part damaged was his rear quarter panel. He managed to keep in somewhat control. They weren't far from the exit, which is where they found the tire and rim at the bottom of the exit ramp! Crazy Sh&*

Well platinum, I am glad that you sent people in your place. So, thank you.

I would totally dissapointed with the turn-out. Well, the amount of people that signed up to go, and said they were bringing food/drinks...and didn't show up. That forced us to go out and buy MORE food to accomodate for the people that did bring what they said they would...and we had like no burgers. Next meet I am planning on hosting at a park where there is a pool, volleyball court, lake, etc. But I will be requiring that people send in money for it if they sign up to go. Because those things aren't cheap to rent out...and I am not gonna be paying $300 some odd dollars for 70 people saying they're gonna go...and then don't come out!

Have you considered Marsh Creek state park for the meet? It's about 5 minutes off of exit 312 (Downingtown) of the PA turnpike. Not sure how they would react to a car meet or if you would need to call ahead for permission or what, but it would be worth a try. They have some decent parking lots, a public pool, a lake and plenty of woods to hike around in. Give it a shot, maybe for a late summer meet!

Just to throw something out here. You may want to make sure that you have a permit with VF Park. At the last G/Z meet that we had there this month we were questioned by the Park Rangers as to where our permit was. I spoke with the Ranger and he was insistant that if a permit wasn't produced then the get together would have to move on.

Just an FYI.

Yup. The park ranger said that for a large group you must buy a permit to hold any type of meeting/bbq/party, etc. I believe their permits are $50. We were politely told we would have to leave if we could not show him our permit.
