Any LI Z's or G's, lend me rear wheels for a few hours?
 

Hey guys, I went to smithtown nissan to get a quick inspection, and the jerks failed my 2006 w/23k miles. I almost hit the floor when he told me. First they claim i have a reverse light out....the so called nissan specialists have never seen a oem rear fog. Then it was my rear wiper blade that was bad. Then my brakes are bad, then my rear tires are "shot". After its all said and done, and when they finished trying to BULLSHlT me, my tires could not pass. They are not by any means bald, or anything. They are not meaty, but not bald. But they failed me because of it, and scraped my old inspection out of the window. So i need a set of rears to throw on the car for an hour or so so they will pass me this time. Because for some reason i dont think their $620 quote for rear tires is a good one.:icon16: Can someone local help me out?

Get the hell out of there. My dad bought a car from there and all they did was nickel and dime him to death with every little thing. Take it to some independent shop that does inspections and you should be all set (if the tires are indeed passable as you say).

just go to a gas station im sure they wouldnt give you as much of a problem like the dealership would.

I dont plan on ever taking my car back to the dealership again unless theres another recall on it

Dude, go to the nearest local shop, pay them $35, and they'll have a honda civic pass the inspection for you... easy as 1-2-3..

nah, i dont feel like paying off someone to do the inspection. If id known i would have done that from the beginning. but now the dmv already knows i failed safety, so i just want to throw wheels on there for an hour...pay the $10 to re-do the safety check and be done with it.

i cant beleive they wont let you go without tires ..

well my rear wheels are SHOT so im out lol
