I'm coming!

I'll be staying in Manhattan from 11/18-11/23. If there are any meets going on during these dates, please post here and let me know. I'd love to come by and check out some of the east cost cars. If anyone knows of any parties or events happening that week as well, let me know!

Kwame Oct 28, 2008 12:28 PM

This is the Northeast. There are no more "meets" after September, lol.

OMEGA46 Oct 28, 2008 12:29 PM

wish i was down in that area. You just missed a 400+ car meet up in the Boston area ;)

Andy@Performance Oct 28, 2008 12:36 PM

Thats right, it get too cold, LOL! West Coast FTW!

JZurita Oct 28, 2008 02:03 PM

I don't have any means of transportation to go to CT, lol.

JZurita Oct 28, 2008 02:32 PM

Metro North train out of Grand Central gets you to Stamford in 30 minutes. ;)

I wasn't planning on leaving outside of New York but I'll consider it if the meet is big. Plus, once I get to Stamford, how the hell am I supposed to get around? LOL. Maybe its not a good idea.

Damn Californians don't know anything........haha I kid Andy.

If you are in Manhattan get to Penn Station and from there you can pretty much connect to any train in the city even the Long Island Railway. You can even catch the New Jersey Rail from there.......

Yea I know where Penn Station is. I still haven't figured out the subway system there, lol! Kwame brought up a good point - I'm not trying to take a train to CT and freeze my ass off and struggle trying to find this meet. Not very convenient.

Ed 718 Oct 28, 2008 02:57 PM

Well if you find a foldable subway map don't leave it anywhere as those are hard to find. When I was there I could not find one for the life of me but luckily for me I still remembered most of the lines when I was a kid. i could find the LI train maps but the ones for the inner city were hard to come by.

Well one of the perks to having friend's that work in the city as investment bankers are private cars. :icon38: Plus, with the cabs having a CC machine in the back now makes everything better. I should learn how to use the subway though, been going to NYC at least once or twice a year since 2004 and I still don't know, LOL!

CrownR426 Oct 31, 2008 08:58 AM

Hmmm, well there's always car meets on Thursdays @ Edgewater, NJ.
You'd have to take a ferry boat from nyc to edgewater... lol.
I'd rather get crunked and go clubbing.

Like mentioned: Metro North out of Grand central will put you in Stamford in 30 minutes or so. Get off the train, and hop on a cab for a 5 minute ride to Cove Island :)

Larry@Showtime Oct 31, 2008 12:27 PM

If you want to check out some east coast cars like Jons (Jzuirata) beastie TT then hop on metro north and take the 30 min trip into Stamford. The train station is 5 minutes away from cove beach where we will be meeting. Sh!t ill even come scoop you at the station and give you a ride back after. Hows that for east coast hospitality? Just PM me if your interested with ur # and we can work it out.
