East Coast Z Association's Spring Meet
 

The East Coast Z Association will hold its 5th Annual Spring Open House on Saturday, April 24, 2004 (rain date May 1, 2004) at East Goshen Township Park on Paoli Pike in West Chester, PA. The meet will start at 11:00 a.m. and run throughout the afternoon. We had over 60 Z’s at our Fall Meet and we’re hoping to surpass that number this time! Based on the fantastic turnout we had in the Fall, we are going to try and make this more of a weekend event for the out of state travelers. Here are some of the events planned:

* Friday Night-April 23, 2004 - Detail Party at the Holiday Inn followed by Happy Hour at Bennigans in West Chester, PA

* Saturday-April 24, 2004 - ECZA Spring Meet at East Goshen Township Park starting at 11AM

* Sunday-Track Day (G35/350Z meet) at Atco Raceway, Atco, NJ.

Z’s of all vintages and other Z car club members are welcome to attend!

Great prizes will be raffled at the park.

As you know the ECZA does not charge membership dues. Several club members have donated some awesome prizes for this years raffle. If any club member would like to donate something to be raffled (ie, diecasts, small items, etc) please contact me.

Directions to East Goshen Township Park:

From King of Prussia:
Take 202 South to the Boot Rd Exit. Get off the Boot Road Exit and make a left. Follow Boot Rd to Paoli Pike. Make a left onto Paoli Pike. Follow Paoli Pike through 2 lights. You will see the entrance to the park on your left.

From Wilmington, Delaware:
Take 202 North to the Boot Rd Exit. Get off the Boot Road Exit and make a right. Follow Boot Rd to Paoli Pike. Make a left onto Paoli Pike. Follow Paoli Pike through 2 lights. You will see the entrance to the park on your left.

In order to obtain the group rate of $109, reservations must be made by 3/23/04. They are holding a block of ten rooms for Friday night and ten rooms for Saturday night. Make sure you tell them you are with the ECZA.


If you plan on attending the park meet please try and bring some type of food item (soda, snacks, etc). Pizza will be ordered and delivered at the meet.

I was thinking this meet is only 56 miles from ATCO..So I may go to this meet and stay till sun and drive to atco from PA...That sounds alot better you down for staying there G???

Those are my same thoughts, J staying over is a strong consideration; as last year it was another 4 hours from Philly back to CT.

And then you would drive back down to southern NJ the next morning!!I am in NJ and to lazy to drive back and forth..I made up my mind I am staying in PA on Sat night and driving to ATCO the next day..I am reserving a room this week I am probably gonna get a double and see if anyone wants to split it..J

Atco Raceway is probably a little over an hour back North in NJ. Check out the thread on the Atco meet April 25th

So far Darking350 and I, plan on driving to Atco after the meet in Philly, the following day; There will be a couple more cars from Philly joining us.

So I assume your staying overnight after the meet..I plan on doing the same as well..ATCO is about 56 miles from the meet,north west..It would make no sense for me to travel 115 miles nw then 115sw the next day...So I will be staying..We can put together a caravan to the Phili meet as time draws near and even plan a dinner for Sat night..Maybee Hooters!!As I missed the last one..

We'll definitely be having dinner the night of the meet. If you guys have your hearts set on it, Hooters is just a few short miles down the road from the hotel where you will be staying.

I suppose that's the sane thing to do, J; As the ancient Chinese proverb would have it, "Never do anything standing that you can do sitting, or anything sitting that you can do lying down. "

I am at my best lying down ;) In fact, some of my best creations were realized right on zee bed :cool:

I would like to go to the ECZA meet on Saturday and travel with you guys to ATCO the next day...I was wondering if there is a caravan leaving from anywhere near Westchester County in New York...Let me know.
