Who's Redline Z in Stony Brook
 

After following a Crome Silver Z in my lowly 2000 Maxima SE :rolleyes: from Smith Haven Mall I came to the intersection of Route 17 Nicolis Road and 347 heading west on 347. Stopped at the light and spotted a Redline Z stopped at the light heading south bound on 17. The Redline looked modded and I believe it had the Volk TE 37s in Gunmetal, but not sure because it was dark. The light tuned green and I saw and heard you take off. The car sounded sweet. Sounded a lot deeper then stock exhaust. What exhaust do you have? It was around 6:30 PM by the way. I go to Stony Brook University and never saw your car around the area. A friend of mine at school has a DB and there are about 4 or 5 others on campus. You got a sweet ride by the way, very clean!

WOW there are quite a few at stony brook surpising since many are students with no jobs.

im a couple minutes from stony brook but im blue so it wassent me.

Its actually not to surprising to see that many Zs on campus. I know people with M3s that go to Stony Brook. There are 2 E36 M3s in my dorm parking lot alone, a handful of G35 coupes around, M Coupes, M5s, typical rich kid Audis, BMWs, Benzes etc...... Believe it or not I saw a professor driving a 911 turbo on campus last year and i've seen another kid driving a very rare white E30 M3 in perfect condition.

well, it was not me but I see quite a few around the area as well.

I'm 5 minutes from Stony Brook University, and I saw a redline with the gunmetal volks coming out of a mobil gas station. It must be the same one. Redline is so rare and a modded one must be even more uncommon.

i go to stony once in a while. i got a SS. ive seen a DB one time inside campus during the warmer months. We flashed each other a high beam near Roth. i wonder if it was one of u guys.

I actually don't own a Z but my older brother has a DB Track. You'll see me driving around a 2000 Grey Lustre Maxima SE. That DB you might have seen was probably my friend. He drives his Z year round. Last spring semester, some jerk hit and destroyed his rear passenger side fender in the Stadium Parking Lot and it was a hit and run, so watch out there are some haters. Do you park by the Social Behaviors building? I usually see a SS parked there. I know there is a CS parked in H quad and another CS with a Stillen front mesh grill so there are quite a few around.

what up chanimal117, sell that maxima and get a Z already...you know u want to. Hey ZZZealous007, i think i was the one in the DB that flashed you at Roth. Yes my car was hit up pretty bad last semester in the stadium parkin lot. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do unless you can afford to pay someone to guard your car all day. I would def wnna meet up with some Z people on campus or off campus...just holla. On a side note, have any of you guys taken ur Z to smithtown nissan for any warranty repairs?

What up Troy, unfortunately I can't afford to sell the maxima. I'm broke and not working at the moment.:( Maybe we can make it a Nissan meet once the weather turns nice. I know a couple Nissan enthusaists around. The only way I could show up in a Z is if big bro lets me borrow his Z:o, which would be a long shot since he's in Boston and barely has had time to drive it himself. As far as warrenty work at Smithtown I know they are one of the bigger dealerships in the area and a lot of people go to them, but they can be shady at times. They quoted me on an O2 and carbon cannister job and once the work was done they charged me almost $200 more.:mad: Anyway let me know whats up and we'll see if we can get a meet going. I graduated from Stony Brook a while back!!! And I have a Redline Track Z.......but I'm sure it's not me :p

Wow, SB students are driving the Zs now....impressive!!! Back then I was lucky enough to own a 1990 Celica GT-S. :D
