Can't seem to go through downtown Kirkland without feeling like crap...

Especially when I am seeing Vantages and DB9s practically everyday ... :icon11:

I saw a 612 Scaglietti pretty close to it but wasn't able to get a picture lol. It amazes me how these guys just park on the side streets and leave cars like these unattended... I'd worry about pedestrians or other parallel parker's dinging my car.

More:

760Li and old school RR.

Bad shot, but an old school Ferrari.

Haha nice... guess you didn't want him knowing you were taking pictures.

I think it looks good except for the antenna at the top... it makes it look a bit tacky considering it's a baller-mobile.

Tubbs May 22, 2007 05:33 PM

you should go drive in the ghetto right after, then.

Divergent13 May 22, 2007 05:56 PM

Meh, typical sight in those areas now. What I want to know is the guy who said he saw an Enzo in Bellevue. He didn't have pics but I want to know if there are any in this area.

Isn't Kirkland pretty much "Seahawk Central"?

Could you explain this?

the aston v8 vantage is easily the sexiest car in existance, if i could afford it, it would be the only car i would buy on the way it looks alone, not even considering anything else

well, my next door neighbor is D.D. lewis, and my back door neighbor was ken lucas before he got traded. Also, 4 houses down is Slick Watts from teh sonics back in the day. As far as the Enzo goes, It is in bridal trails (between kirkland and bellevue). It is a gorgeous car, and the owner let my friend drive it. He is a pretty cool (older) guy.

Electricchild May 22, 2007 10:51 PM

Haha yeah the Enzo definitely does exist. BumpinJeep lives in the area where that guy is and has seen his F40 as well.

I had to go in for surgery at Overlake hospital back in August and that's when I saw it on 116th avenue. Such a beautiful site... something nice to look at before going into an operation. :)

Hi purple,

I read this on wikipedia:

The Seahawks currently conduct summer training camp at Eastern Washington University in Cheney, just southwest of Spokane but this is scheduled to change in the near future. During the Seahawks' first ten seasons (1976-1985), summer training camps were held in Cheney. When the team's present headquarters in Kirkland were completed in 1986, the Seahawks held camp at home for the next eleven seasons (1986-1996), staying in the dormitories of the adjacent Northwest College. Under Dennis Erickson the team returned to the hotter and more isolated Cheney in 1997, where they will hold training camp through 2007. The Seahawks are scheduled to move their summer training camp back to suburban Seattle in 2008, when their new Renton complex is completed.
Can anyone confirm whether this move is true?

There are more Ferrari's in Bellevue/Redmond running around than you can shake a stick at, also Lambo's. One of the families in my neighborhood that belong to my daughters pony club have 2 Ferrari's 1 Lambo and 1 Supercharged RangeRover to pull their horse trailer with :icon8: The guy owns a commercial roofing company and likes sports cars. Cool guy too, I'll ask him next time I see him if I can do a photo shoot with his cars and my lowly Z

Lots of them live in Woodinville and Kirkland, I see the real "ballers" at my local pool store sometimes in their Mercedes Benz's that I would happily give a kidney for...:D

invite him to our next meet

I've seen some retarded cars in Bellevue. So far, the top three are an Enzo at Bellevue Way & 12th, an SLR at the same intersection, and there's a guy with a Phantom that works in my building (word has it he also has a half dozen Bentleys). Not to mention, like Wasuber said, the daily dose of varied Lambos, Ferraris, and other Bentleys.

Devil Z May 23, 2007 10:24 PM

As long as my car can keep up with *some* exotics I am truly happy. After all I believe there is more joy to owning a car which you put all of yourself into than just buying something super exotic outright.

I know if I had the money to buy a Lambo or Ferrari I would also mod the crap out of it. :icon11:

Jabdo233 May 23, 2007 11:21 PM

True but most owners don't mod those cars. They've already paid out the ass for them, and I guess there's no reason to spend money on after market parts, when the stock parts themselves are probably worth more!!!

If I owned the Vantage above but in black the ONE thing that I would MAYBE want to change are the rims... black on black Vantage would look sick!

AlvinHuyN May 23, 2007 11:38 PM

I'm not gonna lie. Even if I one day buy a Ferrari F430...I'd still mod it. I do not want to have the SAME car as someone else. Just like a girl, a car needs attitude, sexiness, uniqueness. One time I saw a yellow Murci. ran through Kirkland and it had a yellow paintjob with black CF rims!...nuts

warmmilk May 24, 2007 11:36 AM

if was stupidly rich, i'd build a ferrari drag car, complete with huge slicks and skinnies up front.

-thats why i'm not stupidly rich

I1DER May 24, 2007 12:04 PM

And Kirkland was such a nice sleepy, affordable town about 15 years back. It hasn't changed that much except the housing costs which alters who drives and walks in it and vice versa.
