i noticed on the website for this that my350 isn't on the list of forums participating, should be a lot of fun and a lot of cars to check out. PLUS ITS FOR THE KIDS ... there now that i got your guy's attention who's all in??

i'll prolly make it out there depending on how many other z's and g's wanna go, i don't wanna be the only z out there

I went last year, the meet was huge. There was a lot of asshattery going on also, so steer clear of the troublemakers. I know at least one guy (driving an Evo) went to jail.

Speeding on I5... 100mph +. Got him for reckless, impounded the car, took him to jail, etc.

There was also a minor 3 car accident at the beginning of the meet.

Its a pretty fun event, and for a good cause - but its getting too big for its own good... The convoy was a total mess because there were so many cars, and the restaurant at the end (I think it was izzy's last year) was totally overwhelmed with people.

All that being said, I would do it again if it weren't so far away.

title says meet at olympia park and ride, but does it start in like tacoma and we convoy down there?

seems kinda crazy, I am not into douche bags racing down I-5 if its really like what SpoilsofWar said. Shoot maybe we can make our own meet - We'll meet up at Toys R Us, buy toys, bring it to Bel-square to donate, then go have lunch :D All Zs, no douche bags!

If you're going to go, I would suggest the following:

Go to the park and ride as a group, park where you can make an easy escape, and leave BEFORE the convoy to Izzy's starts. That way, if you plan on going to the restaurant you will actually be able to be seated since you will beat everyone else there. And you avoid any douchebaggery that happens during the convoy. Also, trying to get the hundreds (yes, HUNDREDS of cars showed up last year. Probably 300+) of cars out of that park and ride lot and onto I5 is a nightmare, so you'll avoid that mess.

If you guys just want to donate toys, then all you have to do is go to the Izzy's and the Marines will be there with their toy truck for you to donate.

^^ I would agree with Alvin about doing our own G35/350Z convoy/meet type thing to avoid that nightmare.

its starts in federal way park and ride (exit 147, which is the last exit for federal way) then the go down to olympia to donate the toys

but i agree with alvin, i think we should do a z/g thing instead of this, who else is up for it

i dont know, I think that going with so many cars could be fun. I like how we always think that we are so much better than all the other car clubs out there. Whenever I go driving with someone, I always always end up racing them. There was like 4 of us racing on 405 after the 4th of july go cart meet. This last one down to Issaquah, I raced I believe 3 more. After the go cart racing in bellevue I went up against 1. Plus normal driving I race quite a few.

Also, in these cars (and a lot of other ones out there) 100mph is not a lot. I touch 90-100 almost everytime I hit the freeway. I just get lucky and don't get caught. When I do, I break out my attorney :)

I am usually free for a g/z meet. Alvin your good at setting it up. Do it, do it.
