Default No Z content but a warning.

So just warning you Seattlites that a strange man and his wife will be in town this weekend.

Have a bunch of dinner reservations centered around downtown/Pike Place but nowhere in particular for lunch. Any "locals" recommendations? We're not driving so walking distance to Hilton Seattle/Pike Place area is best (and all of the touristy places we're going are within a walk or Lyft ride. I think.)

We only have time for a few things.... Spacey Needle/Chihuly, Lock tour, Museum of Flight but if there's anything that can be seen/done in the area within short distance and time of the above, let us know!

If you see a strange guy with any car-related attire (not likely but may don my "Datsun" shirt for a bit) wandering around looking like turistas, wave and/or run away! Laff....

Yes, definitely!

I've seen (and caught) a salmon there before but always good fun! They threw it at me because I told them I had an evening job a few years after I "retired" from tech, selling meat and fish! Hahahahahaha....

Why'd I do that job? Just for the halibut.

Sorry.

you can take a ride on the ferry just for fun. the terminal is within walking distance from pikes peak.
Or you can take a ride on a duck ( WWII amphibious 2 1/2 ton floating trucks but only if it is nice and sunny )

Pike's peak? Hahahaha..... famous mountain to famous tourist and locals attraction?

But ya, spent time there and took the other boat tour through the Ballard locks. That was very pleasurable. As was the rest of our short trip there. Food was magnificent! Getting around was easy thanks to Lyft and Uber.

MOST amazing fried chicken E-V-E-R!! (Steelhead Diner)

Chihuly Glass Garden was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!

Pike Place Public Market, colorful as always!

Car observation(s): Not a single Z was spotted. Guess they all got my warning I'd be there and ran the other direction. But the car of choice seems to be BMWs with annoying exhaust systems. I mentioned this to a Lyft driver who picked us up in a Benz. His words (NOT MINE): "Yeah, apparently all the ricers grow out of their cars and aspire to Bimmers."

I was a little shocked he said that but admit that it echoed my sentiment.

Seattle, still one of my favorite towns! Great weekend trip!!

I mean, it was really nice that they named a plane after me!

Hey Mic, send me a PM next time you're in town. I'll show you the good off-the-grid places that only locals know about. Looks like you had fun though.
