Should I cut the front grill for my FMIC in California?
Hey guys...just wondering what your opinion is. For those of you with FMIC in California, I'm running a stock front bumper. Should I cut the grill for the IC? I'd like to show the IC of course, but knowing the strict laws of Cali, I'm a bit hesitant to attract more po-po. Should I just hide it behind my factory grill then? I know performance wise it wouldn't make much difference. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

I too thought of this, but Im a bit hesitant as well. Its fine I guess the way it is. Its still visible but yet hidden at the same time so I guess i'll leave mine alone. But it does look awesome. Theres this Chicago Z or something like that, he has the Veilside lip on it with the opening cut and it looks great.

i would cut out the grille.
i cut mine out and i don't even have a fmic, as i'm not a fan of the oem grille.
but it sounds like your more worried about police attn., however by the looks of your car, they would notice you anyways (with or without the grille).
