RESPONSE
Do not send me another email. I will have you dropped from this forum. You have personally made a statement against me.

YOU HAVE DONE THE WORST THING THAT CAN BE DONE ON THE NET.

YOU ARE NOT TO BE BELIEVED.

Jim Wright

Let's put it this way ...

I WON'T LOOK FOR HIM WHEN I BUY MY NEXT CAR.

THanks for the info.

oogybgy Feb 7, 2003 11:00 AM

I was thinking it was awfully ballsy of anyone to get up on here and solicit business.

1.If these cars are truly as hot and in high demand as dealers say, he wouldn;t be on this forum looking for customers.

2. If he had done ANY research at all, he would see there are other posts on THIS FORUM offering the car UNDER MSRP!!!!

DUH!!!!

and oh yeah, for the comment about salesmen making a living...give me a break! He chose the job, plus, even at invoice, a dealer gets 3% of the base msrp for selling the car within 30 days. Every time a HOT car like the Z comes out, dealers get f'in greedy! I ran into this same problem when I bought my S2000 a couple of yrs ago. I will NEVER pay msrp again!

I hope they banned him. I am on this forum to have fun and learn about the car. I don't want to be bothered my solicitations!

I know how busy the moderator must be, but this thread has no place here, where forum rules prohibit commercial posts and signatures, and members are discussing matters affecting their region.

Zbart Feb 11, 2003 06:30 PM

rules

i believe the forum rules only prohibit commercial posts and signatures if they're in direct competition with this site.

oogybgy Feb 12, 2003 02:46 AM

rules

Zbart is correct.......

I believe this would be the EXACT rule:

11) No commercial or promotional materials or links in the posts and the signatures. Any posts or signatures that can be competition of our sponsors or MY350Z.COM , or obvious traffic stealing posts "may" be removed without notice. Understand that we have sponsors paying $$$ for advertising.

I don't think that this thread violates that rule. I do however, get offended that a sleezeball salesperson can come on here and solicit business. Not to mention the fact that he was so unbelievably rude to Zbart.

Zbart Feb 12, 2003 05:27 AM

not to me

he was rude to 2k3silver

he was rude, nevertheless; and even made some threats aimed at 2k3silver350z. very unprofessional.

aelius Feb 12, 2003 07:15 AM

I do understand a reading that would limit only commercial posts that compete with the sponsors of the site but still feel that "No commercial or promotional materials or links in the posts and the signatures" applies here.

Regardless, it is a remarkably unprofessional response from someone who is speaking for Hayward Nissan and, by extension, Nissan North America.

oogybgy Feb 12, 2003 07:46 AM

My bad

sorry, got the screen names wrong Zbart

Amen to that! Nissan I am sure would be ashamed of someone like that!

Zbart Feb 12, 2003 08:35 AM

just want to add that Jim Wright has probably learned from this experience; at least I hope so.
notice how he's kept quiet about all this.

Phatmitzu Feb 12, 2003 06:20 PM

Ahh. Another bad sales person exposed. Donno if we should be sad :( or happy :) about it.

12SecZ Feb 12, 2003 08:17 PM

Not taking sides just an FYI to all

Nissan is very interested in negative encounters with dealers/sales people regarding their flagship Z Car.

They have a " Nissan Regional Consumer Affairs Division for matters like this that have merit and they are great to feal with and do follow up. They have allot of clout and do not want people out there doing what this person has *alledged* to have done.

Just an FYI, nothing more, nothing less.

Cheers.
