It's been fun, everyone.....

Well, the Z Roadster is sold and gone......A good friend was pretty interested in it, and he conveniently bought it for his birthday present (haha, yeah, it must be nice). I hooked him up on the condition that I still get to see it and drive it around every now and then. I'm pretty sure he's already signed up here, so you may see him either here or at a meet. Anyhow, I'll have some knick knacks and parts up for sale in the near future.

Elohite Apr 12, 2007 04:38 PM

+1 on finding out your new ride

I've got a few things going on that I want to take care of first whereby this Z sale freed up some capital, so I'm just driving the Audi for now. Nonetheless, if it turns out to be a good year, I'll give a few hints to what I'm eyeing (tentative ride of course)- It's mostly handbuilt, it's probably over 9-10 years old now, it's got no radiator, and it's probably a bit less hp than the 350z I had. Like the Z, it's also got a helluva racing heritage and history behind it. :)

BTW, James- Saw your ride on both 580 (off dublin), and the other day off Capitol Expressway in San Jose. Hahah, didn't know you had the same long commute as me.

If it was over the weekend, its probably because I went home from school. My gf actually moved out there so I am always crusing around that area and San Jose now :icon38:

sorry to hear Mike. Good luck with the family!

damn Mike you too huh? hope the family is well and good luck on finding a new ride. :)

Nismon Apr 14, 2007 09:37 AM

Thanks for the kind wishes, fellas.

Family is doing great! JD's looking like a lil man at 6 months already. I am consolidating for now, as I've just got a lot on the plate, but I'm pretty confident it's all good things when said and done- nothing I can't handle for now. As for a future ride, really not sure yet, but I am most likely going back to Euro (Pcar for fun or Merc for biz). I've always wanted a Porsche 993, preferably widebody, so possibly looking for a clean example at the right price towards the end of the year. I'll keep you posted if anything comes up. :)

BTW, if you see a silver A4 slammed on Kinesis wheels, don't forget to wave hi (that means you James on Quimby yesterday, haha)

Anyhow, here's a clean 993 example (Japanese content attached for relevance)
