Brembo's
Hey guys, I found someone that can install brand new pair of front Brembo's for $2,100. It includes everything (installation, pads, rotors, and calipers). What do you guys think, should I do it? I haven't check the cost of Brembo's, do you guys think it's a good deal?

sound kinda pricy for just the front. Of course this is parts only, I'm not sure how much labor is. I seen f/r sets go for anywhere from 2k -2.5k.
For $2100, might as well go with a set of new StopTech!! Anyways, check with Chad, he might be able to get you a good price on Big brake kit!! Tell him Dave sent you :icon18: :icon18: :icon18: wait, you know him already.. hahah:D |

I'm thinking if I go with StopTech, it'll probably run me $2,600 - $2,800 for parts, labor and tax. |
thats a great deal. Most people pay 2000 for them, uninstalled.

Tony- you can probably get a new set of StopTech fronts (13.2") for $1900. if you look around. And you can probably have them installed for around $200. If you go with the Brembos I would recommend doing SS brakelines at the same time (StopTech kit includes SS lines).

whoops, I didn't realize it was front only. People pay 2000 for all 4. thats too much.

Thanks for the advice guys!! :)

Group buy for Stoptech anyone? :D
I'm also interested in getting Stoptech myself. If you're interested, PM me for pricing. NorCal only. |
Another advantage of the StopTech 13.2" kit is that the rear 13.2 kit will be available as an upgrade in a few months- in case you want to add the rears down the road.
And WTF is that avatar? |

I just came across the website about this Japanese comic called Dr. Slump that I used to read and watch back in the 80s.
So I took the pics and made it my avatar. |
