Default New Road Course Open Tonight! READ IN SIDE

I will be there tonight 6/18/09 checking out the road course. I know a few of you wanted to come and check it out. I'll be out there around 9:30. $10 to get in and $5 to race around the course. My number is at the bottom anyone can shoot me a txt. Cya there tonight!

Central Florida Road Course that a few of you had posted about will be open from 6pm to 12am. With Orange County Sheriff Department over looking law breakers to help deal with the on going street races. Therefore giving people a place to race in a safer environment then in the street. I will be going before the meet to see how this plays out. Also to see how the new track is. Im sorry if ya posted a reply about shouldnt be speeding or racing on the street.. But thats how all these aftermarket companys started and etc. If anyone know the history of nascar.... it started with people making there cars faster lighter to out run cops when making there MoonShine Runs... so like a HUGE CAR GUY that i am... im going to see how it is... the address is 201 pancel lane orlando fl... here is my number if anyone wants to join before the meet...407-341-9587

its normally 25 for the night....i been there twice already...its really a nice setup and alot of people are starting to go...on fridays they have the crooked drag wheres its a smaller course set up side by side and you and the other person race. So im assuming the full track is 25

Did you race, or were you hanging? How did they decide what cars to run against each other?

they have different classes i think. There was an Evo out and when he was running up the *** of the accord in front of him they moved him to the next class on his next run.

its a 1/8th mile...the purpose of the 1/8th mile is bc the owner is working with a local cop from OF to try and reduce street racing near the area...So if they can bring them more to a controlled organized environment w/o getting into trouble its a success. I really respect what they are doing

I've been to the track as well. It's a nicely done course. If I had better tires and brakes I'd do it myself. So the last time I went, I just spectated. I paid $10 to watch and as a side note - you can let someone ride with you as a passenger as well when you pay the $25.

If however, you decide to get someone to ride with you, make sure they're already in the car when you pull in. If you want someone to ride with you later that evening, they won't let you change up.

Yeah, that type of course won't matter if you have a passenger or not. No need to worry about weight. But I only weigh 104, so it's not like there's anyone really there anyway. lol

Honestly - why not take your car to the track as part of your bachlor party? I never understood that - you get to look at ***** all the time and there's plenty of strip clubs around town, why is getting married different? Most guys still go anyway, so save the money and TRACK THE CAR! lol
