Has anyone heard of CameraAddict.com?
I'm looking to buy a Canon G9 and their price is $283 and the next lowest price is well over a hundred more. It freaks me out that there is such a price difference between two companies. Can someone tell me if they have had dealings with this company before? Thanks.

AVOID! The first review is relating to the camera that you want.

This is a typical "upseller" that will treat you like absolute crap if you try to argue with them.
edit: Hey! Another Hoosier! Woohoo!

From Columbus, live in Clarksville, some family in Indy. I've been to Anderson a few times.
Footnote: Resellerratings.com is a good place to check these places out.
I screwed up and tried to buy something from a place like this and ended up canceling my debit card because of it. They put up nice prices, then try to sell you something a whole lot more expensive. I was in the market for a flash for my camera and bought a Canon that was a hundred dollars cheaper than anywhere else. I had to call them "to complete my order". And the guy kept prying in to what kind of camera I had. I told him it didn't matter, I was buying a flash. He then proceeded to tell me that I was rude and that HE was the expert.
There are a lot of them in Brooklyn and New Jersey. A lot of times, there are many different company names, but they are really the same people. It's sad that people think they have to be crooked to make a living.

Rule #1 I have learned about buying camera supplies.. don't order anything online from New York (Brooklyn esp) unless its from B&H If the offer seems too good to be true, it probably is. Stick to B&H, Adorama, NewEgg, etc. when buying Cameras and expensive lenses. Don't have to worry too much about cheap accessories and memory cards though. Also, a Google search for the company name will usually turn up a review page about them.
