Hey tech im not to sure who you are talking to i was the one that said something about the supra and the auto tranny. I think this guy just jumped in and started talking without reading most of the thread. Anyhow yes you are correct they aren't stock auto tranny's but neither are the manuals when you start putting as much power down to the ground as some supra's do right. Anyhow this is a sweet swap and is there anything for the auto tranny's for the z's coming out other than paddle shifters.

The stock supra auto can only take about 400hp before it has issues.

yup.. poeple confuse the Supra Getrag Tranny with the VR-4 Getrag tranny.. the stock 6spd on a supa handle 1000whp no problems

The longer the Z and g is out, the less sense it makes to do this conversion as they become cheaper and cheaper. Who seriously dumps 30g's into their car then goes, 'hmmm, I'd like to shift it now". A fool and his money are soon parted.
Nevertheless....I see this is a testament to the skill of the guys at GTM, plain and simple.
